In 1955, Walt Disney created a magical world hidden away in California, to give children and adults alike a place to let their imaginations soar -- where even the impossible could occur.

51 years later, in March 2007, a messageboard was created with the exact same purpose: to give the fans, the children at heart, a place to discuss their love of all things Disney without the fear of judgement from those who have 'grown up' and sadly no longer believe in magic.

Has anyone done the Disney Internship at Disneyworld? I've always wanted to, and i think I may actually have time to do it since i'm now graduating a semester early.

Anyways, i have some questions about it that I would rather just ask a person who's acutally done it.

I've read about it...and the rest of those programs. I'm thinking bout it when I get there....darn being freshman! and darn being held back a year!...ah well, gives me more decision time. it would mean I'd have 2 move...

has anyone else heard bout their other programs? they seem pretty good too.

I've done two college programs! My first one was the fall of 2005, and I worked in quickservice food & beverage at Liberty Inn at Epcot. Then I went back and did the summer alumni program in 2006, went into Attractions, and was fortunate enough to get placed at the Great Movie Ride. Now I'm back at GMR for good!

I would definitely recommend the college program! It's super fun and a great experience. And it's a great way to get started with the company too. I would love to answer any questions anybody has!!! :D

Hi! Sorry I'm new but I did the internship from 1-12-05 to 8-5-05. I was posted at the magic kingdom auto plaza, parking, and custodial for the TTC. It was the most wonderful experience ever!! I highly recommend it! I've made a bunch of lifelong friends and I'm dying to return there! It really becomes home after a few months of being there.
