In 1955, Walt Disney created a magical world hidden away in California, to give children and adults alike a place to let their imaginations soar -- where even the impossible could occur.

51 years later, in March 2007, a messageboard was created with the exact same purpose: to give the fans, the children at heart, a place to discuss their love of all things Disney without the fear of judgement from those who have 'grown up' and sadly no longer believe in magic.

Hey everyone, my name is Rachel, I am 18 years old, and love everything Disney. I live in Southern California, about an hour from Disneyland. My mom and I are planning our first vacation to Disneyworld next summer though. :) We go to Disneyland about 4 or 5 times a year, and we love every minute of it. My absolutely favorite characters are Simba, Scar, Stitch, Aladdin and Jasmine, and Flounder, just FYI ;) Hope to meet other Disney people, and get some more info on the parks.

Welcome to TMK, Rachel! You're lucky you live so close to Disneyland. I've only been there once myself. My family and I just planned our first vacation to DisneyWorld. We're going there for this Christmas though.
