In 1955, Walt Disney created a magical world hidden away in California, to give children and adults alike a place to let their imaginations soar -- where even the impossible could occur.

51 years later, in March 2007, a messageboard was created with the exact same purpose: to give the fans, the children at heart, a place to discuss their love of all things Disney without the fear of judgement from those who have 'grown up' and sadly no longer believe in magic.

Just as the title says...what Disney-related thing did you last buy? biggrin.gif

---

I stopped by the Disney Store today, and that's my undoing... laugh3.gif I'm very frugal when it comes to spending money, but stick me in a Disney Store and geez...once I came out with the whole Narnia figurine collection because they were on sale. laugh3.gif I got all 6 for like...$20, when they were usually $20 a PIECE. I couldn't NOT take up on that offer.

Anyway, today we preordered the Jungle Book special edition (and got the lithographs, calendar, and $5 snowglobe) aaand as a very belated birthday present, my mom picked me up this adorable set of plushies! (Deciding between Beast and these two was SO difficult! In the end I chose these two though because they aren't so easy to find merch. of...and they were cheaper. Haha.)

(And no, I already own that rose and didn't get it today. I got it when I saw a community theatre put on BATB last summer. I just put it in the pictue for fun. Haha.)

And while we were checking out my mom was buying my brother a Nemo ball because had gotten kinda attached to it during our shopping trip and she saw a princess one and bought that for me too. laugh3.gif So yay.

As you seen in my review of the Little Mermaid Musical, I bought 80 worth of TLMoB stuff. I'm actually wearing the shirt as I type.

The last thing I got was Disney sheet music, along with sheet music from Sound of Music.

yesterday I went in FYE and bought Aladdin:Platinum Edition on DVD and watched today. It's amazing and there's so much extra stuff on it. I also bought Bernard from The Rescuers in where else, but the DisneyStore. He was on sale for $1.00, so of course I couldn't just leave him there. =]

The last thing I bought was a Capt. Jack Sparrow action figure. And today a couple of pins I bought a while ago finally arrived. One's the Fab Five dress as mounties in front of a red maple leaf, and the other has 3 heroic couples: Aladdin and Jasmine, Hercules and Megara, and Tarzan and Jane.

I think the last thing I actually bought FROM Disney was either food or my big hat. Which I love mucho. I need a picture of it. I can't remember the last Disney-related thing I bought...Though I can tell you that I really want to buy Meet the Robinsons. Loved that movie to pieces. <3

...the five day early HSM2 SOUNDTRACK! boogie.gif Walmart's gunna get some flack from Disney for that, but I dun't care...I've got the soundtrack! Yee! The special edition, too. It was only two dollars extra, so why not? I'm not listening to it yet, aside from the songs I already've heard though. Cause I'm a good girl! (Lets see how long that lasts, though. Ha!)

When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I bought a Belle bank, a 'My boyfriend is a pirate' pin, a Belle pin, and a book on how to draw the Disney princesses... I'm doing okay so far, but I am DEFINENTLY not an artist. I knew there was a reason I stuck to theater. :P

I went to the DStore yesterday and pre-ordered Jungle Book. I'm excited. biggrin.gif It came with lithos and a snowglobe. I also got a couple of the Disney Studio Collection shirts they had because they were on sale 2 for $20. I got my sister one with Baloo on it and I got myself the Fantasia one. If they're still on sale next time I go in, I think I'm going to get Captain Hook and Snow White. I also reserved a Princess Breakfast for myself and my sister on our trip in January. I had to pay for it in full, so I guess that could be considered my last Disney purchase. laugh3.gif

OK! I remember my last purchase from Disney World. I'm sad that I don't have a picture of them, because I luffs themmmm to death! Right before we left Magic Kingdom, I bought two stuffed Mickey Mouses, one bigger one of Dream-Along Mickey, and a smaller one of Wizard Mickey. And I also bought one of those teeeeeeny towels that you put into water for it to become a full towel, also of Mickey. Yes. I am mucho happy. And I am not ashamed to say that I sleep with my Mickey's every night. mickeygrin.gif Once I get a picture of them, I'll be sure to put them up here and show off their cuteness.
