In 1955, Walt Disney created a magical world hidden away in California, to give children and adults alike a place to let their imaginations soar -- where even the impossible could occur.

51 years later, in March 2007, a messageboard was created with the exact same purpose: to give the fans, the children at heart, a place to discuss their love of all things Disney without the fear of judgement from those who have 'grown up' and sadly no longer believe in magic.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a daily picture from all of the themeparks, a picture that you guys love and wish to share?

This is how it goes: every person that wants to participates shares one picture per day. Don't forget to post where it was taken :)

Here's mine for today:

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Park
Disney character train, mini parade for the 15th anniversary celebrations
Main Street USA
June 2006

The character train runs over the parade track (but in opposite direction to the parade) every day, for as long as the 15th anniversary celebrations last, several times a day. In theory all the characters on the train should be available for meet-and-greet, just not necessary that day. Characters on the train also vary from day to day.

Don't worry if you don't have this much information or remember the date anymore, just post whatever you can tell us about the picture :)

Castle at dusk
Disneyland Paris
June 2006

I didn't take the picture, Bert's brother Peter did, but it's one of my favorite Disney park pics of all time so I figured I'd share it anyway :)
I know Peter won't mind (it being in my flickr page and all) ^^

That's beautiful! wub.gif

Here's the Evil Queen from Snow White during Fantasmic. I'm really proud of this one because of the dim light and the distance away the stage is at this point.

See it this way, with sharing only one picture a day, we'll be sharing our pictures for a long long time to come :)
Which means we can have fun for a long long time to come ;)

Disney Village at dusk.
That hot air balloon is called PanoraMagique.
It's attached to this big ass rope so it can't actually fly far away when it goes up. It costs like € 15 to go up in it, but I've never done it because I'm afraid of heights :)
It flies above Lake Disney :)

OOoooo! I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon! Maybe one day they'll add something like that to Downtown Disney. :D

Here's mine for the day. :D

It's a Kodak DX7590. I love it. wub.gif

Here's another night shot. This is the back of Cinderella castle during the Extra Magic Hours.

I've heard a lot of good things about Kodak and night photography, but you've really proven them :)

I have a Canon Rebel TX (although they're called EOS 350 D over here) ^^
Which isn't nearly as good as your Kodak for night photography.

The 15th anniversary edition of Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Disneyland Paris.

All the candles the characters are holding are lit up during the Candellabration Ceremony. I didn't go to watch it last June (when this photo was taken) because there'd be too much light anyway during summer, but I will go see it when I'm there in October, it should be dark enough to take photos of the lights then :)

That's cool! I wish they'd done something like that for WDW 25th instead of the pink cake thing. That was hideous. :lol;

Here's mine for the day. :)

This is my sister (in red and pirate ears) and my friend Tim, in the TLKoB shirt, waiting for the Magic Kingdom bus at POP... at 7 in the morning... on an evening magic hour day... laugh3.gif
