The mare turned to the stallion, removing her hateful glare from the other mare. Tossing her head, Xena gave him a puzzled look. The other female was talking as if she wasn't standing there, telling him bad things about her and such, that were completely a lie. And hadn't she told him she would stay? Well, maybe she hadn't. Xena couldn't recall.
Shrugging, she looked at him. "Why should I stay if she's going to?" she returned. Sure, she would stay even if the other mare stayed. But, of course, her stay would not be perminate. She needed a place to stay desperatly. Xena knew she could no longer travel on her own, it was much to dangerous. Flicking her tail in slight irritance, her gaze left him and wandered around the land.
The land was nice. She as well as any equine could easily see that. And Xena knew well, that she would be a fool to leave them just because of a bothersome mare telling lies that were not true. Taking her thoughts off the problems, the blue roan turned back to him, waiting patiently for his reply.
