Nice pictures, LUH. I'm not sure I actually recognize the person you were talking about in those two pictures you posted, but it sounds like you are referring to Alf Reeves, who remained with Chaplin for a many years (I can't remember how long!). In any case, the fact that he was in a picture would definitely not suggest that it was from 1914. Oh, and congratulations on your grades. I'm glad to hear that your salt-sniffing habit has not proved to be too distracting to your studies.

The one with the doll (I think) is 1918, because it looks like he is outside his studio. I'd go with Alf Reeves as well. The what year one is 1914. There is a similar one to that in the Vance book (C:GOTC) at the start of the Keystone chapter.

Congratulations on your report card, luh. Now you really deserve the book for your birthday.

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human
society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and
betrayal. And I was angry. "God", I said,This is terrible! Why don't you do something? God was silent for a moment, then He spoke softly. I have done something, He replied. " I created you".

the doll one, MAC, i think is 1915, because someone posted one of him with the doll, but his arms were cutt of the picture. they said it was 1915. maybe we can look on the net and see what year they came out with the doll.
thanks guys. now that i passed, i can run track. i got a meet on friday... wish me luck!

Good luck with your running. It was 1915 i think now, because he looks quite a lot younger on that photo.

According to A Photo Diary, the picture with the doll is from 1917. However, I also think it looks as if it was taken at the studio, which would mean it would actually be 1918, as MAC said, or later.
