NOW HIRING: MULTIPLE MODERATORS, applications due february 25

Surprise, surprise! We are doing an infamous search for some new talent
that can help us run this site with pizazz. In "lamen's terms" that means that
we are on a search for some new moderators. And what kind, you may ask?
All kinds! Global, advertisement, poker game mods, and the newly appointed
resource moderators. Or what will be newly appointed if we get people that
are interested. ;D Anyways, below are descriptions of the job duties of each
type of moderator, and if you are interested simply fill out the form at the bottom
and reply to this topic with that form. We are not going to accept forms via
PM, because it just gets too messy. Besides, you may as well tell everyone that
you want to be a moderator, right? There's no fun in hiding the fact. ;D

PS: If you are currently a moderator and want to know if you can move to a
different position, the answer is YES. There is no fun in staying in the same spot.

Global Moderators will have the following responsibilities: 1. Move necessary
topics to where they need to be moved, ie advertisements, requests, poker
games. 2. Create polls once a poker game ends, and set a 10 day deadline for
voting. 3. If asked, help Courtney and I make winning banners for those that
win each poker game. 4. Sift through the roleplay resources and make sure there
is a link back or credit to Call My Bluff. If not, give out a warning. 5. Take part
in helping us decide whether or not a member deserves a promotion! 6. Create
poker games from the suggestions we get from members, if you think it is a
good one, and set a 4 week deadline for entries. 7. Create poker game
suggestions, help give critiques,answer help center questions, and overall
be an active part of Call My Bluff. If you are not deemed active enough Courtney
and I do have the power to hand out a demotion, where you will just become
a member again.

Advertisement Moderators will have the following responsibilities: 1. Advertise
Call My Bluff to other sites just like you would if it was your own. 2. Move topics in
and out of the different sub-forums in the advertising section as needed. 3. Link back
to sites that have advertised to us first, and then move their advertisement into the
appropriate sub-forum. 4. Enforce our advertisement rules as needed. 5. Check sites
that are currently advertised in our sub-forums to make sure they are active. If not,
please move them into the Denied/Inactive category. We know this isn't the most glamorous
position, but it is one that is greatly appreciated. <3

Poker Game Moderators will have the following responsibilities: 1. Create at least
2 poker games in a month. 2. Enforce our poker game rules. 3. Create polls when poker
games end. 4. Move and close topics as needed. 5. Create member awards when a
poker game is won. 6. Encourage members to participate in poker games. Basically, we
are putting you in charge of the "challenges" section and expect you to keep it as active
as you can do. Be the 'creative minds' of Call My Bluff! We would love this section of
our forum to really blossom and become a major feature of this site.

Resource Moderators will have the following responsibilities: 1. Be an active part
of our resource team by making at least 2 resources a month (whether that be roleplay,
graphics, tutorials, dohtml, etc). 2. Give helpful advice/critique to those who ask for it.
3. Sort through the sub-forms in the resource categories as needed. 4. Check for credit
to Call My Bluff with every new resource entry (if required). 5. Enforce the rules of our
various resource boards. 6. Make suggestions to the administrators as needed. We
really just need to have people that are dedicated to helping out others in more than one
way. That is what this position is all about. <3

Overall, we want to bring our total number of moderators up to 12, with the following
breakdown (but nothing is definite at this point in time).

2-3 Global Moderators
3 Advertisement Moderators
3-4 Poker Game Moderators
2-3 Resource Moderators

all kinds for about six years. i know all of invisionfree

around july/august, and i had a bit of an absence, but
i'm back now and ready for a little more responsibility.

One of them being secretCROWDS, if you've ever heard of it. I know my way away the cp and the topic options. I've been writing for nine years and working on hmtl and if boards for five years. Well, I can be. I saw the staff add on Caution! and decided to check the site out. So I just got here. I've actually never heard of this site before so I was kind of excited. It seems like writing/resource forums die out pretty fast. Besides rc&r that is.
Why We Should Hire You:
I have a lot of free time on my hands. I like people and I like helping them. I can be firm when need be. I can be on often. I'm good with following directions. And I just really like working on sites. It gives me something good to do and makes me feel useful.
