BULLET at Van Nuys Armory in Van Nuys
24th February 2007
=================================================

Following on from http://z8.invisionfree.com/bulletwrestling...p?showtopic=141

- Backstage in the locker room, Flea Boy is focused on scratching his groin against a locker handle. The Earl of Sandwich then shows up from around the corner and gets in Flea Boy's face, asking him what he was thinking when he urinated on Kaine's locker. Flea Boy says he didn't know it was Logan Kaine's locker because he can't read, and besides he deserved it since he was mean to him. The Earl of Sandwich reminds him he urinated on the locker before that post-match beatdown he got. Flea Boy just looks back at him confused. The Earl of Sandwich tells him not to get to distracted with "lowly" Logan Kaine and that there's bigger things to think about... like supporting him as he wins the Openweight Tournament. Flea Boy just nods and scratches his head.

- He may have been drenched in sweat from head to toe, but Abdul Bakar Shamsul bin Qanazul was a man beaming from ear to ear. Having just competed in the Six Man Tag Team Match, the Malaysian Firecracker met up with Yarick Stevens backstage. Yarick asked Abdul what his thoughts were regarding the now-impending Triple Threat Match to determine whether Abdul, Morbido or Vance advanced in the tournament to crown the first SoCal Ultimate Openweight Champion. Abdul Bakar took control of the microphone and began ranting in a foreign tongue (Malay). Yarick was of course confused, so Abdul grinned and told the young BULLET interviewer that the people just heard a man on a mission declare that there was to be nothing that could stop the march of the Malaysian Firecracker now. Abdul Bakar seemed extremely confident that he would beat the stuffing out of El Morbido and Vance. Just as he was about to continue, however, Abdul was joined by... Teh Americano Idol! Teh Americano Idol took the microphone and told Abdul that he understood how Abdul felt about being victimised by ignorant fans. But that didn't meant Abdul could grab the American flag (which he did indeed do earlier on) and threaten to rip it up. Yarick took the chance to ask why Abdul didn't do anything to the American flag. Abdul, staring a fiery hole through TAI, simply stated that by taking any sort of action... he would have given in to the idiots who thought he was a terrorist. Ripping up the flag was an act of vandalistic terrorism, and Abdul reminded everyone that he was not a terrorist. This prompted the fans to start chanting loudly -- "TER - ROR - RIST! TER - ROR - RIST!". The Malaysian Firecracker was pissed. Teh Americano Idol shook his head and chuckled, before informing Abdul that if the two of them met in the deciding match the next day, TAI would have something greater than the American flag; his SHINY CAPE! With that, Teh Americano Idol scooted away. Abdul looked on, and cursed under his breath before he too disappeared.

1]. Paul The Thai Warrior & Teh Americano Idol & The Baby Eater battled it out for 13 minutes before Teh Americano Idol used his One Hit Wonder [Dragon suplex from the top turnbuckle] on Paul The Thai Warrior to secure a place in the semi final!

The very first triple threat in BULLET history started off tentatively with all three seeming reluctant to engage. With so much at stake though it wasn't long before The Baby Eater took control with a series of hard rights and lefts. Using his power, he whipped both Idol and Paul to the ropes before flattening both with a mighty double clothesline!

Paul The Thai Warrior was up first as Idol clutched at his damaged neck, but The Baby Eater scooped him up and immediately nailed him with his Baby With Cheese [Muscle Buster]! It seemed inevitable, but at the last split second Teh Americano Idol dived forwards with an elbow to break things up. The Baby Eater rose angrily but was knocked to the outside with a dropkick.

Paul and Idol exchanged some nice reversals in the middle of the ring, even teaming up at one point to send The Baby Eater back to the floor with an assisted Flying Forearm - Idol leaping off of Paul's back. The co-operation didn't last long though and Paul quickly snapped Idol over with a Suplex before hitting a nasty Shining Wizard for a near fall.

The Baby Eater saw his involvement often limited as Idol and Paul would work together to try and neutralise the burly infant consumer, though, at one point he did manage to lay waste to everyone in site with a Double Ace Crusher. Idol was all set up for the Baby With Cheese [Muscle Buster] but Paul The Thai Warrior darted across the ring with a Chop Block, causing Idol to land Cross Body across The Baby Eater. Paul tried to snatch victory by dragging Idol off before nailing a Russian Leg Sweep and then springing over the ropes to nail both opponents with a Catapult Somersault Senton!

Paul then tossed The Baby Eater through the ropes before dragging TAI itno the middle of the ring. He began his ascent to the top rope, signalling for Jungle Jump [Frog Splash] but his eagerness proved to be his downfall as Idol appeared behind him, crossed the arms and drilled him with the One Hit Wonder [Dragon suplex from the top turnbuckle] for the 1-2-3. [***1/4]

The crowd went nuts for Teh Americano Idol who quickly rose to his feet. He winced as referee Rodriguez Sanchez raised his arm sharply. The Baby Eater threatened to spoil the party as he re-entered the ring. A tense staredown ensued before he offered his hand out in front of him. Idol tentatively shook it to a huge pop.

Next up was 'Luscious' Logan Kaine versus Flea Boy versus WTFWJD? Kaine and Flea Boy have exchanged bodily fluids and indeed chairshots already this evening, so this should be a doozy.

2]. A badly aimed chairshot to the skull of Flea Boy from WTFWJD ended this match for the benefit of Logan Kaine after an exciting 8 minutes.

Kaine was a marked man early on as WTFWJD? dominated him with stiff striking and clumsy throws, which included a rather uncomfortable looking Side Suplex followed up with a Flea Boy Standing Moonsault. Flea Boy held on looking for a cheeky pin but was scooped up and battered by a hard Clothesline which sent him tumbling to the outside. WTFWJD? followed him out there after a Dropkick to the back from Kaine who brought the crowd alive with a death defying Suicide Dive which left all three men down and out for a count of twelve.

Flea Boy enjoyed the action on the outside and managed to drill Kaine with a Swinging Tornado DDT off of the ring apron, spiking his metro-sexual opponent on the floor with a thud. The itchy one then ran across the front row of chairs looking to nail WTFWJD? with a something or another, but instead found himself whipped over with a brutal Powerslam.

WTFWJD? nearly scored the win after hauling Flea Boy up and dumping him with a Stuff Powerbomb in the middle of the ring, but Kaine broke things up with a Catapult Senton. Kaine then sent WTFWJD? through the ropes with a Roaring Elbow before turning to the kneeling Flea Boy. Kaine grabbed the neck clealry looking for the Luscious Lock [Front facelock on the ground with body scissors] but was distracted by WTFWJD? As soon as Kaine rose, the long haired Jesus lover spat Communal Wine towards him - but instead, junior referee Miguel Corona took it in the face. An incensed Kaine charged WTFWJD? and launched himself over the ropes slamming WTFWJD? down with a crazy Bulldog! Flea Boy got in on the action with a Tope to once again send all three men down and out!

Kaine was up first, and wrestled a chair from an elderly woman in the front row to a chorus of heel heat. He swung high, but Flea Boy caught him in the face with a right hand before kipping up and Monkey Flipping him into the fans - but Kaine landed on his feet and nailed the Luscious Lick [Sweet Chin Music] almost taking Flea Boy out of his boots! A low blow from WTFWJD dropped Kaine in an instant, and the bearded one looked to capitalise by rolling Flea Boy into the ring, his pin attempt though went unseen as Miguel Corona was still pawing at his eyes. WTFWJD? tried in vain to brighten up the zebra, almost allowing Flea Boy to capitalise with a rollup, but again no call was made.

Logan Kaine slid into the ring weilding a steel chair. He tapped it on the ground, setting his sights on WTFWJD? before running and taking aim. With a big swoosh, the chair flew forwards - but WTFWJD? had sidestepped and, with a clang, the chair bounced off of the ring ropes and smashed Kaine in the face, busting his nose. WTFWJD? grabbed the chair and returned the favour, but Kaine ducked away and the steel struck the skull of Flea Boy! WTFWJD? took a moment to comprehend - just enough time for Kaine to deliver the Luscious Lick to the jaw. A quick boot to the gut sent Flea Boy down to the floor before Kaine dropped across the body of WTFWJD? to claim the 1-2-3 from the red-eyed Corona. [***1/2]

After the match, Kaine absorbed the jeers from the crowd, exchanged a few pleasantries before making his way to the back. A dazed and confused Flea Boy followed shortly after, staggering from one side of the ramp to the other.

3]. Vance The Deadly Tsunami was on the wrong end of a Abdul Bakar Shamsul Bin Qanazul Brainbuster after 6 minutes of action to send the non-terrorist through to the semi-finals.

Qanazul was the obvious heel in this match with the crowd on his case at every opportunity. He worked them well drawing a lot of heat, but in truth his passage through the match was relatively straight forward with Vance The Deadly Tsunami not able to mount any serious offense and El Morbido offering light comedy rather than serious threat.

Comedy spot of the night went to Vance and El Morbido who at one point seemed al set for a bizarre dance off. Vance began to spin around mesmerically as El Morbido did a backwards, and incredibly slow moonwalk before bursting forwards in a strange zombie walk. It didn't last long though as Abdul broke the party up with a Double Top Rope Clothesline.

El Morbido handed Abdul his first pinfall loss in BULLET a fortnight ago at Frank & Sons but tonight Abdul was a different beast. Fired up by 'Allah Powah' the Malaysian unleashed a barrage of stiff Knife Edge Chops on El Morbido before grabbing a bandage and literally unwrapping him before sucking him into a Step Over Heel Kick for a near fall.

The finish came after Abdul had laid out El Morbido with an Ace Crusher before channeling the power of Bruce Lee and tagging the oncoming Vance with a Backfist. Reeling from the shock, Vance was dealt a kick to the gut before being hoisted up and dumped down hard with a Brainbuster for an easy win. [**]

Before the final match of the evening, BULLET C.E.O Chuck Norris came out and announced that the following night, BULLET would be graced with the presence of one of the finest in-ring athletes of the generation. He claimed a 'Superstar' of the highest order would be on hand to crown the first SoCal Ultimate Openweight Champion...None other than Jason Ramsey! The crowd went apeshitcrazy and immediately started up a 'RAM-SEY' chant.

To round off the show, Fight Man took on The Earl of Sandwich and Maud Tara Singh to find out who was joining Logan Kaine, Abdul Bakar and Teh Americano Idol in the semi-finals.

4]. Fight Man piledrove The Earl Of Sandwich in the face following an appearence by Flea Boy to ensure that he will become the last semi-finalist after 10 minutes of entertaining action.

Quite what Flea Boy was playing at involving himself in this match is anyones guess. Perhaps his de-lice cream has gone to his head, but he certainly failed to make the right type of impact after distracting The Earl causing him to turn into a spiky Piledriver.

The early stages of the match were good fun all around with all three combatants taking to the sky with some crazy lucha highspots with Maud being the most agile hitting a Skytwister Press to culminate things. The Earl and Fight Man were the most imposing competitors, sidelining Maud to exciting cameos mainly.

Both Fight Man and The Earl were trading heavy, and stiff looking blows to the delight of the fans when Maud wiped both out with a Springboard Corkscrew Cross Body, nearly getting the pin on not one, but both opponents. Fight Man and The Earl powered up and soon dealt Maud a nasty looking Doomsday device! Fight Man then swung a wild right at his Earlish opponent, only to miss badly and find himself dumped on his neck with a Spinning Side Suplex.

Unwisely, The Earl tried to match Fight Man punch for punch at one stage, each punch bringing a wild cheer from the fans until The Earl seemingly rocked Fight Man with a Kunckle Sandwich - only for Fight Man to come back off of the ropes with a thunderous right hand which knocked The Earl up and over the ropes! Maud got in on the action to, but his/her slap was blocked and she took a nasty blow to the nose and followed The Earl to the outside. Fight Man found his range with a Suicide Dive before being introduced to the ringpost by The Earl who followed up with a Neckbreaker.

The unsightly threesome found their way back into the ring when Flea Boy decided to make an appearence. the fans weren't sure whether to cheer for the increasingly popular itcher. With Maud laid to waste with a Diving Clothesline, The Earl had Fight Man right where he wanted him after a Bulldog. Flea Boy got up on the apron and began to clap, sending a anti-flea-powder towards his Sandwich consuming compadre. The Earl turned, coughing and spluttering - and even worse, soon to be unconscious, after Fight Man clobbered him with a right hand before delivering a winning Piledriver. [***]

And that settles it. 'Luscious' Logan Kaine will face A.B. Shamsul Bin Qanazul in what is sure to be a show stealing match and Fight Man will have his work cut out challenging Teh Americano Idol. One of those four men will be the first SoCal Ultimate Openweight Champion! Join us, back here tomorrow night to find out who!
