Leigha could not believe that there was yet another cell that was somehow involved in this case. Where had they come from, who'd sent the one she had. Leigha had no way of knowing but maybe it was best if she didn't know. Perhaps she'd safe and the person who'd sent it. A weight lifted off her shoulders now that she'd shown it to Shelby. She'd made the right decision.

"I'm fine with that. I'm very confident that if in your hands it will be in kept safe." Hearing that Shelby would keep her in the loop meant a lot to her and she smiled slightly. "Thank you Detective, I'd appreciate that." Leigha gave a nod at the cell she'd given over to Shelby. "I don't know who sent it to me, but I still have the envelope that it came in at my home. If you think you can get anything from it, prints or anything like that I can get it to you."

She looked at the girl as she mentioned she still had the package that phone came in. Shelby sat straight up and stated, "That package would help a lot. I would appreciate if you could get it to me as soon as possible." Shelby looked at the young woman and then asked, "Did it come to your house or how was it delivered?" She needed to know as much info as she could get

"That's not a problem, I'll bring it by myself as soon as possible." Leigha was growing more and more confident that she'd done the smart thing in passing along the cell to Shelby. "It came through the mail. I didn't recognize the writting on it and there was a message left inside with the cell. It mentioned that only one cell was found, and questioned why the one they'd sent wasn't found." Leigha furrowed her brow as she sat there wondering why it had been sent to her to begin with and who'd sent it. "I don't know it came to be in my possession, it just did. I have to say I'm a bit concerned that whomever sent this to me knows my home address. It's very ... unsettling."

Shelby was jotting down notes to what Leigha was telling her. She would put them into her laptop later with all her other secured and locked files, notes, and ect. from this case. Shelby looked up at the end noticing a realization that hit Leigha and spoke, "I can put a cop car on your house I can make up a reason for them to be there. I would feel at ease and I bet you would too. So far though it seems this person wants to pass messages to open up the case again..show truth so to speak."

Shelby gave her a sincere and comforting smile even though her thoughts were running rampaged because she didn't know how this person would react if they knew she gave the phone over to the police. Shelby needed to take precautions on Leigha's safety. "This card has all my information on it my work phone and cell and email you can reach me at any time or day and I will be there okay." She told her as she handed her the card.

Watching as Shelby took necessary notes Leigha leaned back more comfortably in her seat, as comfortable as she could be given the situation. Having a car at her house would help her to sleep at night and she thought Shelby's idea had merit. "If it's not too much trouble I'd appreciate that Detective. I believe it's better to be safe than sorry." Shelby had a good point, Leigha was more than likely a means to an end, a way to get a message out, nothing more, nothing less but she didn't want to take any chances.

Leigha reached across the desk and took the offered card. She looked at it for only a moment then she smiled back at Shelby. "Thank you again Detective. I appreciate it. I'm relieved the cell is in good hands. If I learn anything else regarding this .... matter, you'll be the first to know." Leigha stood up and placed Shelby's card into her wallet so she'd remember where she'd put it. "I'm afraid I must be off. It was a pleasure meeting you, I'm sorry it couldn't have been under different circumstances. If you're ever on my side of town, stop by. I enjoy having visitors," she replied, reaching out a hand to shake Shelby's.

Shelby finished jotting down some notes as Leigha spoke and replied when she was finished, "Yes safety always mus come first especially in my book. I will see that you are well looked after." Shelby reached across the table and took Leigha's hand into yours and confirmed that she had done the right thing by coming to her. "Let me walk you out to your car. Make me feel at ease." Shelby slide her chair back and stood up walking to the side of her desk, but waiting to see if that was alright with the young woman.

The conversation between the two women was over now. Remy really didn't like what he was hearing. Something would have to be done about this, and quickly. Why didn't he know about the second cell phone? And exactly who had sent it to Leigha? Remy didn't like any of this. There were too many loose ends to be tied up. Too many things weren't as "neat" as they should have been. Someone had made a few too many mistakes in all of this, and it was rapidly turning into a mess.

Remy pushed away from the wall beside Shelby's door and pulled out his cell phone as he headed back to his desk. He dropped the file in his hand in a drawer and locked it before grabbing the sport coat he always wore to work (suit and tie, all the way, Baby!) and his keys. He dialed the number by memory. This was one phone number that would never appear on any contact list. That would be too dangerous for a lot of people.

"Now," was all he said to the voice on the other end of the call before he pushed the button and disconnected the call. Things were going to change now.

Leigha felt somewhat relieved after hearing that she'd be well looked after. While she trusted Shelby it was other people that she had a hard time trusting. She was scared, anyone in her shoes would be but she said nothing else of it. She did nod her head letting Shelby know she'd heard her and was appreciative of her help. "Thank you Detective," she replied as she rose to her feet, slipping the strap of her purse over her shoulder. Leigha moved towards Shelby's door then stepped out into the hall. Looking down both ends of it she saw no one lurking, she was being paranoid and she knew it but it just might keep her safe. She turned to look at Shelby over her shoulder, smiling politely at the woman.

Shelby smiled at Leigha and said, "You're welcome, I should really be thanking you. This discovery could make some leeway on the case. I hope that it sheds some light on things." Shelby gave her a smile that hopefully brought some comfort to her. Shelby stepped out the door behind Leigha turning to lock the door even though she had already locked both cellphones in her safe that only she had the password too. Shelby just felt safer locking her own office door call it extra reassurance.

Shelby led Leigha down the hallway and then through the front of the police station. As they headed for the outside. Shelby held the door open for her as they headed outside and to the parking lot but stopped mid step and asked, " Where are you parked?"
