RECENTLY:
Shelby Merrick finally revealed a secret she's been keeping for six years. Justice Merrick went missing. It was feared her step-grandfather, the very man that abused Shelby for years, had taken her after Shelby refused him visitation with his granddaughter. Justice has been found, but will she be rescued in time?
Treddis Collier and Remington Brant are getting closer in their hidden relationship. What will happen when Big Brother finds out his baby sister is dating a cop that is ten years older than she is - especially since she's only 16 years old?
Summer Landsdown has proof that someone was in Ezra's apartment AFTER he was found dead. Will she find out who it was before something bad happens to her?
Leigha Mitchell has information and an item that directly links Ezra to something outside of his known job. What does she have, and how much danger is she in now that she's gone to the police with it?
COMING UP:
Trevin Collier and Leigha Mitchell's relationship may face some rocky roads when he reveals to her the truth that has only recently been made known to him.
Remington Brant begins to use his budding relationship with Treddis Collier to keep an eye on her older brother, a new recruit into the very department that is secretly investigating Ezra's death.
Lives are in danger, even if they don't know it yet. Threats will soon be coming, and someone may get seriously hurt.
PM Lupiter if you have something coming up for your character that you'd like to see printed in the episode teasers.

Role Play Etiquette 101
1) Role-play
VERB:
Role-•played , role-•playing, role-•plays
VERB:
To assume or represent in a drama; act out.
VERB:
To assume or act out a particular role.
Role-playing.
---
2) Role-playing
NOUN:
Psychology a therapeutic technique, designed to reduce conflict in social situations, in which participants act out particular behavioral roles in order to expand their awareness of differing points of view.
An instance or situation in which one deliberately acts out or assumes a particular character or role.
---
In light of the fact that most of these are self explanatory, I won't go into any extended detail regarding these definitions.
I will, however, lay down a few etiquette rules that consequently enough, are NOT being followed by all members of this board. Please read each of these VERY carefully! If any of them pertain to you, even a little bit, you are strongly encouraged to work on improving yourself.
1) If you are Role-Playing then I expect you to participate in actual RPing with more then one party. Constant NRN)s or threads involving 2 or more of your own characters do not count. (There is a time, place and even an occasional need for such an event to occur. I understand and respect that.)
However, you can not always rely on yourself to provide your own character with romance, drama, angst or fun.
* IF this is what you opt to do - then you are not a Role-Player. You are simply some one that wishes to oppress their wants and desires as an Author amongst others.
If you wish to write your own style - without following the rules - then this board (nor any other) is not for you. In turn, I suggest you go else where - such as your home or office. Stick to writing works of fiction, because interacting with others will always result in someone being unhappy.
2) Understanding the wants, needs and desires of fellow Role-Players. Setting up a story line is something that most Role-Players find themselves doing. However there are times when another writer may find themselves deciding against a set plan. Respect that and understand that. The best thing to keep in mind is this;
"You win some. You lose some."
Life happens. It's not the end of the world - and 99% of the time it is not done to hurt feelings and be mean. Sometimes things happen IN character and OUT of character to persuade the writer to go in a different direction. Express your feelings. But be fair and understanding.
3) KNOW the difference between IN Character and OUT of Character. - Just because Billy is constantly rolling his eyes at Sally - does NOT mean that Billy's writer hates you and is plotting ways for your demise. What might it mean? It might just mean that Sally annoys Billy. End of story. -- If the problem persists LET the other writer know. Or PM an Admin.
Don't try and get even IN Character or Out. That just makes you look petty.
4) PAY ATTENTION. This is one rule I cannot point to enough. Please, please, PLEASE pay attention to what the other other person(s) in the the thread is writing. If their character, or even a secondary character that they are posting within their own character's post, does something of significance, acknowledge that action or statement!
This seems to me to be a pretty easy thing to do, and for the most part, a no brainer. And yet, there are players not only on this board, but many others, that simply do not read the other character's posts, or they simply choose to ignore what the character has done or said until it is too late. DO NOT ignore things that another character does within a thread that might considered in the least bit significant. It only makes you look selfish and completely ridiculous.
5) BE RESPECTFUL. I feel this is the most important rule I can offer/provide and enforce. You must be respectful. This rule covers a large variety of rules that are not listed or mentioned. If you ever second guess a post or action, then ask yourself if you would consider it DISRESPECTFUL if someone were to do it to you. Fairness falls into this category and rule.
Be a good person. Sometimes it's hard being the better person. But in the end you'll be glad that you were.
