Derrick shivered at the feeling of warmth on his neck when Colden placed his hand there. Slowly, he moved the hand that had been resting on Colden's side up his chest and placed it over the younger boy;s heart. Derrick smiled when he felt Colden's heartbeat. It must've been weird, but it's something he felt he wanted to do; to make sure if this was truly real. The feeling he was feeling now was...whoa. It was so surreal, so different from anything. Although he'd established that before, he just couldn't stop thinking about it. He wanted to get one of these kisses every day and there was only one person he wanted to obtain them from; Colden.

He was pretty sure Cole was the one who could kiss him like this anyway. Derrck ran his tongue over Colden's lip ring slowly. He liked how Colden had it, the lip ring. It was kind of weird that in all the kisses he'd shared with Cole, never once did he take time to appreciate the fact that Colden had a lip ring. To tell the truth, he'd never even paid attention to the fact that this boy in front of him even had a lip ring. He pulled away gasping for air and smiling like a maniac. "Whoa." was all he could say seeing as he was still short of breath. "That was hot." he muttered. And the truth was, he wasn't even lying. Was it him, or did the room just get hotter?

Well, that was definatly...what Derrick said, hot. Never had Colden shared a kiss like that with anyone else. Not even his own ex boyfriend. And it was weird because out of the many times Cole and Derrick had kissed, it was nothing like the one they just shared. It was more...meaningful? He wasn't sure if that was the right word or not, but it fit alright. Now all that was on his mind was what was to happen now. Would they just forget this happened or would they actually make something out of it?

"Woah is right..." he sais, him too trying to catch his breath. He wanted so bad to just ask him what was going to happen now, but he didn't want to apear to comming off too strong or anything. But then it really didn't matter because that kiss was strong enough. He was going to ask him one question though. just to make sure he wasn't imagining anything. "Alright...you tell me. Did that have more of a meaning or was...I dunno what how to describe it. Did it feel different than other times?" that was about what he was tying to ask. he was pretty sure of Derrick's answer, but he wanted to reassure himself.

Derrick took a while to comtemplate the question he'd just been given. It was true, this kiss had more of a meaning and was truly different but why. Why?! That's what he wanted to know. "Different," he said, "way different. Have any idea why?" Because he surely didn't. As much as Derrick wanted to just stop talking and attack Colden's face with kisses, he couldn't. First, because they needed to talk things out and two because it would be really weird. Not that he would mind if Colden did it to him. He never minded anything Cole did to him.

Probably because those were the perks to being gorgeous. Colden could probably have his way with anyone if he really wanted to."This is weird," Derrick said ruffling his hair with his hand, but Derrick had to admit he was used to it. Not this situation in particular, but the way the situation was weird. Whatever he did, Derrick always seemed to be placed in weird situations. Before he could even stop himself, Derrick kissed Colden and pulled back quickly grinning like a maniac. "Sorry, just had to do that," he explained.

Colden sort of new the answer, but then he didn't know. He knew it had something to do with...feelings possibly? Maybe actually becoming more than friends with a comitment to it? "Well...I agree with you that it's different. And," Yeah, he had figured it was about time he tell him how he felt about it. It was a risk he was willing to take. "I should tell you that I really, really like you. In a more than just friends kina way." There he said it.

"Don't be sorry," he said with a smile. Colden was one who liked little kisses very much. That and hugs along with cuddling. Sure, he liked the make out sessions and all, but quick pecks and hugs showed that there was more than just having sex in a relationship.

Derrick continued grinning as he listened to the other boy speak. So, Cole really, really liked him; as more than a friend too. He guessed it was safe to say he felt the same way, so he did. "I really, really, really, really, really like you too." he told him grabbing the other boys hand and squeezing it. "So, now that we've told each other how we feel, what do you suppose we do about it?" Derrick asked wiggling his eyebrows. He ran his thumb up and down Cole's thumb." Well, Cole, I wanted to know, um, did you maybe, y'know." He mumbled. Derrick didn't even have a clue of what he was saying, so he doubted Cole would.

"I'm asking if you want to be mine, y'know, like my boyfriend." He said never taking the stupid grin off his face.Right now, Derrick could give a shit about Aiden. Aiden was the past, and it seemed right now that Cole was his future. Hopefully, the other boy said yes because rejection was not something Derrick had taken too kindly to over the years. But he felt that Colden should only say yes if he wanted to and not because he was badgered and bothered about it. "Only if you want to, of course." Derrick put in. He wanted Cole to be his, but in the end it didn't really matter [ :] because it was Cole's choice. Derrick couldn't make it for him even though he was tempted to. He kissed Colden lightly again just to show him what he'd be dealing with if his answer was, in fact, yes.

Did he just ask him that question? Colden wasn't just hearing things, was he? No because that little light kiss that followed was not something he would just imagine. He was obviously to chose one of two choices. There was no and yes. Now, why he would say no, he wouldn't, unless he was possed and someone was controlling his words, no chance in hell he'd say no. So obviously, he was going to say yes. Plus it would seem kind of weird if someone just confessed that they liked someone and rejected the chance to go out with them. That's like saying, "yeah, I love pizza, it's my favorite food" then when asked if you want some you say "no."

Instead of just telling Derrick the answer straight forword, he decided he would show him the answer first. So placing his hand on the back of Derrick's neck, he leaned in and kissed him. Not very light, but not hard either. And when he pulled away, a single word came out of his mouth. "Yes."

Derrick had just been waiting for an answer so when he got a kiss instead, he was surprised. Not because he didn't like it [he did] but because he really wasn't expecting it. He smiled when Colden pulled away and gave him the word he wanted to hear. Yes. Derrick squealed, yes, squealed, and pulled Colden close to him, laying a kiss on the other boy's lips. Colden was his. He was Colden's. Derrick didn't really think he would be able to get over the fact that he and Colden were, well, an and. As in "Angelina and Brad" or "Colden and Derrick". Just thinking about it made him want to squeal again. Normally, he never squealed but his excitement got the best of him this time.

He was glad Colden wasn't a bitch unlike some of the other boys and even girls he dated. For some reason, there was a sort of gravitational pull that attracted him to them which explained Aiden. Maybe Colden wasn't a bitch now but that didn't mean he wasn't one. Derrick looked Cole in the eye and shook his head no. His mouth was starting to hurt because it was almost as if the stupid grin he'd flashed earlier was stuck on his face, which was a good thing because he was happy, but was bad because his cheeks hurt real bad. "I think it's stuck." Derrick said. The thought of how rediculous he must've looked went through his mind, and he laughed.

Well, the squeal was all new. He hadn't ever heard Derrick make any noise close to squealing ever, it was cute really. But he did like the little kiss on the lips that followed. It made Colden happy to see Derrick happy as well as knowing that he was his boyfriend now. Colden's first boyfriend in about three years. Hopfully this will just as good as the last or even better. And not end on such short notice either. He wanted this one to last. Colden really did like Derrick, a lot.

Cole couldn't stop himself from simling. Seeing the one on Derrick's face and then hearing him say that he thought it was stuck. "Well, I like the way it looks on you," he said with a light smile. Any expression would look good on Derrick. He probably even looked beautiful while pissed off. "We could just go back to kissing...." A smirk appeared on his face.
