Tegwen was most definately getting more adventurous. She had told Blitz that she was a brave wolf and she herself believed that totally. She now snuck through the forest, crouching low, ears pressed back. It was quite a daunting place, the trees tall and looming, leafy canopy blocking out much of the sunlight, though the little wolf was not afraid. Spring was coming on quickly and she loved that. Little white flowers were springing up through the thick layers of spongey moss that carpeted the floor. The thick knarled tree roots spanned across the forest floor also. Tegwen knew she was out of Misted Dreams now, slightly South West she guessed, not that she minded, she had managed on her own in the widerness for a while. And she was most certainly not afraid. She was stubborn in the fact that this place wasn't scary at all, a bird left it's branch, cawing and making the bough shake dramatically. Tegwen squealed and darted into a hole in a hollow tree, but she wasn't afraid.

Finally she realised that she was being silly, clambering out from her hiding place she looked around, absolutely nothing. Her paws were still too big for the rest of her, she didn't stumble on them though, now overly careful not to do so. As usual her left ear flopped down, she shook her head violently to make it stand up again. Then, tail wagging she padded through the forest, the sun was now fully in the sky and the day was lighter. Then she spotted a little rabbit in a clearing, it was just sat there not doing anything but chewing on a wad of grass. Tegwen grinned, now to prove her skills, wouldn't Blitz be surprised when she dragged that rabbit back to the pack? She lowered herself to the ground, stomach pressing against the soft moss, ears back, eyes wide and focused on the helpless animal. Then she sprang, her rusty fur ruffling in the breeze, she darted straight at the rabbit. Little teeth went to close around it's throat, but she had forgotten that rabbits had legs to run too. The little grey beast bounded off quickly in panic, Tegwen gave chase, but it was to quick for her darting into it's burrow. The little wolf scowled in anger.
"Darn it," she muttered dejectedly.

Blitz had been following Tegwen for some time. He had assumed after there last meeting, where she had so powerfully tried to push on to Blitz that she was a brave wolf, that she needed to be watched. He never wanted her out of Misted Dreams territory, let alone by herself. Still he didn't have enough time to just follow around a puppy. They needed some pup sitters in this pack, maybe Jvie would be up to it. No matter, for now he had placed an enchantment on her. If anything even slightly dangerous happened she would be shielded in a vine dome, until the suspected danger left. Imagining the kind of things a puppy got into, he realized it could be problamatic. She could be walking up to make friends with a stranger and then poof, she was trapped. It was better then the stranger hurting her though, so he kept the enchantment.

As she ran for cover at the sound of a bird, it took Blitz great restraint not to laugh. She came out cautiously, and shaking her head to put her floppy ear back up, she walked onward. Blitz had to admit he was having fun following her so stealthy. Even before Tegwen pounced on the rabbit, Blitz knew she was going to do so. And even before the rabbit started to run, Blitz was holding back laughter. The little wolf started to run after it, but to no avail and soon gave it up when the rabbit darted into its burrow. He couldn't hear what she said but, he had a feeling if he had he would have had to laugh. Something about this puppy...

He supposed she humbled him. I mean, everyone else assumed he was so big and strong, and before even getting to know him they assumed he was high on himself. Well, most of the time he was. I mean he was an immortal with power over all the earth, he had a right to be a little vain. But this puppy made him feel so much like an equal and not a supirior. Normally people like that he tried not to stick around, he owned a pack he couldn't be considered an equal. He finally got into his mind what he had to do, he had to find out what it was about Tegwen that was so - diffrent. "Trying to hunt?" He said revealing himself from the shadows.

Tegwen sat and scowled into that rabbit burrow. The little wolf was trying to make the rabbit come back out and just lay down so she could get it, all with the power of her mind. She was scowling in both annoyance and concentration. But unfortunately for the little rusty female, the rabbit wasn't suceptable to her mind powers and stayed put, probably laughing at her from inside it's cosy, warm den. Tegwen had half a mind to jump up and down above the tunnels and give the silly animal a headache. That would teacht hat foolish rabbit to mess with this brave Sethiel. Her ear once again flopped down, but she was in a state of such concentration that she didn't really notice. Stupid bunny rabbit, she was going to...going to...going to spin around until it got dizzy just watching her and fell out of the burrow, she quickly decided that that plan wouldn't work.

She didn't even notice Blitz until he was right near her. And she gave a startled squeal, throwing herself to the ground on her stmach and putting a paw over her eyes. If she couldn't see this wolf, then this wolf couldn't see her, right? It didn't take her long to realise that she knew who owned the familiar voice and bounded back up into a sitting position.
"Mister Blitz!" She said, an over excited tone in her voice, she liked her Alpha and it was fun spending time with him. She tilted her head so that her hazel eyes were staring straight into his green ones.
"I'm not trying to hunt, I am hunting." The little femme paused to nod for emphasis. "But the silly bunny rabbits wont co-operate with me." She added turning her head to give an angry glare at the warren again. Another bird flew over head, cawing. Tegwen dashed to hide between Blitz's front legs, silly scary bird couldn't get her here. Though she was a very brave wolf.
"I'm only here in case you need protecting frm that big bird. In case you are scared by them." Tegwen said, looking up at the Alpha. She knew that the large white male wasn't scared of anything, but birds were quite hard to get if they attacked you, perhaps he did need help. She tried to look convincingly brave.

She was growling at the hole the rabbit had jumped into. She squealed when she noticed someone was behind her, and he simply smiled kindly. When she found out it was him, she came back out. She, of course, went on to say she was hunting. He found it amusing how she really thought the rabbit should just stay still. "Well, it'd just be a random guess but I'd say the bunny would rather live than die." Another bird squak, and she ran under Blitz's leg. As she put it, to protect him from the birds that he was scared by. He smiled, yea, he was shaking in his fur he definately needed her to protect him. Still he said nothing, and just thought of how maybe he could help her hunt. After all with no parents she needed to know how.

He finally decided that he would teach her how, after all it was the only logical way. He elevated the ground around them, forcing the rabbit out of his hole. Then he created a small vine fence, that was only high enough so the rabbit couldn't escape. He had used about 2 acres for this, and he looked down to Tegwen. "Keep yourself low, stay downwind, be stealthy. Be patient, remember right now the prey can't escape." He hadn't hunted without elements for what seemed like ages. Although he wasn't going to be killing the bunny, he was sure to find in enjoyble to watch a good old fashioned hunt. He nodded his head, giving Tegwen signal to start hunting.

Tegwen watched as her Alpha did the magic to prevent the bunny rabbit from escaping. Her face held the expression of awe and her eyes shined with excitement, her mind filled with questions. She turned to look at Blitz, little eyes still shimmering with excitement and ears twitching to pick up his words. She gave a nod and then turned, her little hazel eyes fixing on the point where the rabbit had ben just a few seconds earlier. A look of concentration on her face, she set off.

The little rusty wolf crouched low to the floor, paws treading slowly, still ungainly because they were too large for her. Ears pressed back against her skull, eyes focused on her prey, tail wagging fursiously. She gave a wicked giggle and the rabbit was off again, she rolled her eyes and bounded after it, catching her paw in a tree root and tumbling to the gorund.
"Ouch!" was all she yelled out.

Blitz kind of wanted to join in and catch the rabbit once Tegwen got started. It had been so long since he'd actually hunted he almost had forgotten how it was. Still he didn't want to spoil the pups fun, who knows she might grow up to be a killer, and as mean as it was to think of it would be useful to have someone like that around. Someone that would kill on command and not ask any stupid questions. He was already predicting the day when the packs seperated and a war waged in his homeland. It happened to every great monarchy. This would be no differerent, it was just a matter of when.

It forced him to smile when she got into a 'hunting stance'. She was making far to much noise, even if she hadn't giggled like that the rabbit probably could have felt her footsteps. She was too small to "pound" on the ground, but she was close enough that prey could hear it. "You gotta be quite little one. He said picking her from the ground and placing her in front of him. "The hunting position looks like this." He lowered himself closer to the ground, though he was too large to be 'hidden', and he walked closer to the rabbit who had it back turned to them. Once he was close enough to kill it, he made a loud howl and the creature ran off once more. Still not out of Blitz's makeshift cage. "You see how close I got? If I had wanted to kill the rabbit it would have been all to easy. Now, try it like that. Breath deep and slowly, and make sure your paws don't thump against the ground."
