Adelle sighed as she got off the metro. She had woken up late, so her whole schedule was off to a late start. Walking briskly, she pulled her scarf tighter around herself, it was freezing! What she really needed right now, was some nice warm coffee! And she knew just where to get in. Deciding to postpone the days activities, she changed her course of direction and at the end of the road, turned right, arriving at Lune Cafe.

Adelle took a moment to breathe in the aromatic coffee smell, before entering the warm cafe. She smiled kindly at Louie the owner as she entered. This had been her favourite hangout for a couple of years now, and every day she would have a cup of coffee from here. This was how she had managed to get to know the staff of this special cafe. It was still quite early, and the cafe was starting to fill up already! It was quite famous in Paris and was a hit with the locals and tourists.

Adelle quickly approached the register and ordered their classic caramel machiatto and a chocolate croissant. Sitting down a window table, she gazed serenely at the sight before her. Busy french people were walking along briskly, cell phone in ear and yelling loud phrases. Adelle smiled in amusement, the french could be quite a strange bunch, but she loved them and being one of them. France was a beautiful country, and she really couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Just then the door opened and a person came in, Adelle looked around but all the tables were empty, she wondered what they were going to do?

Jamie was a little hasty in entering the cafe. He had managed to break off from his friends who had stuck to him like glue since arriving here. He was aware that they would wonder where he had gone, and they would panic, and it wouldn't take more than five minutes before they were calling him and texting him in their fluster. But he was alright; he knew he was alright. He just had trouble convincing others of that fact.

He reached his hand out and felt it hit a chair, and straining as hard as he could, he could make out little more than a brighter strip across the top of his vision and the usual blackness every where else. It didn't help him much: he loved being adventurous but finding his way around a new place could be pretty intimidating. But he was twenty-seven, he told himself, and he could deal with anything.

He made his way to the left, feeling people bump and press against him, desperate to know what was going on. He kept looking as hard as he could and eventually, feeling a little bewildered, he located an area in which the blackness turned to a darker shade of grey and he knew that he must be near the window. He cleared his throat, walking forwards with his hand outstretched a little until he felt a table. He figured someone would be sitting there and asked brightly,

"I'm gonna have a little trouble reading the menu, unless it's in Braille. Would you mind helping me?"
