civilians
These are the human beings that aren't involved with the police, S.T.A.R.S, or
Umbrella. Whether or not he/she knows about the supernatural world is
completely up to you. Some will know and some won't. Also, it is possible
for civilians to be allies with certain other groups. Once again, it's completely
up to you. Just know that civilians are ordinary human beings.
hunters
You should all know the deal about hunters by now. Hopefully you've seen
the show Supernatural at least once. Hunters are the folks that hunt down and
kill supernatural beings, such as vampires, werewolves, and demons. Not all
hunters are good, but typically, they want the same thing...to kill the supernatural.
Typically they no nothing about what is going on with Umbrella and S.T.A.R.S
. but it is up to you if your character has any knowledge of what is happening.
Perhaps they encountered a loose end that umbrella forgot to get to.
vampires
Those blood sucking creatures that are completely different than they are in
typical myth books. The vampires here CAN go out in the sun. It's more just an
annoyance than anything, and they just get sunburnt really easily. Plus, a stake
through the heart won't kill them. You have to decapitate them to kill them. They
are allergic to the blood of dead men, and holy water does hurt them. However,
cuts, scrapes, wounds, etc. heal really quickly. Some vampires are "vegetarian"
which means they only drink animal blood and not humans. The eyes of a vampire do
darken or lighten due to their appetite, but the eye color does not completely change
to a different color. Perhaps when they are starving their eyes may resemble the color
black, but it will still hold a hint of their original color.
demons
Simply put, demons are the souls of those who used to be human. They're souls
that went to hell. Demons have the power to go from meat suit to meat suit
(which means they can easily possess different people.) The only way to KILL
a demon is with the colt, with Ruby's knife, or by performing exorcisms. Black-
eyed demons are the most common type. White-eyed demons are very uncommon,
and they tend to have the most power. Red-eyed demons are also known as
crossroads demons.
angels
Angels are very rare in this world. They aren't seen nearly as often as demons
are, but they're still there. Basically, angels are the opposite of demons. They're
the souls of those who used to be human. They're souls that went to heaven. They're
here to protect certain people and to send some demons back to hell. Typically,
they're more powerful than almost all demons, except for white-eyed demons. They
could easily save anyone or anything they crossed paths with, but they try to let the
world unfold as fate would want it to. They can't go against God's orders.
(Or they shouldn't.)
police
There are many different positions within the police department. So almost
anything you can think of relating to the police can be here. Different branches
of detectives (homicide, narcotics, etc.), patrol officers, special agents, undercover
cops, literally anything you can think of. Be careful, though. Some cops are crooked,
and some could easily be possessed by demons. Don't trust them too easily.
s.t.a.r.s.
At the moment S.T.A.R.S. is an underground group that is trying it's hardest to
stop Umbrella in it's tracks. They have witnessed the power of Umbrella and
what that power could do. They are willing to do anything, even recruit and
train civilians to help the cause. S.T.A.R.S. does not have any official affiliation
with the government at the moment, but that doesn't stop them from trying to
take down Umbrella. S.T.A.R.S. Positions at S.T.A.R.S. are all over the place.

Anyone to help out against the cause.
umbrella
Umbrella is the largest pharmaceutical corporation in the world. Economically,
politically and morally there are no boundaries for Umbrella. There is no red tape
that Umbrella will not cut and with Umbrella delving its hands in every imaginable
aspect of science, invaluable knowledge and power was obtained. With power comes
responsibility, the kind of responsibility that is so easily disregarded when more
power is within reach. Give a guy power and he will feel like a god. Give the most
powerful corporation in the world that feeling and they will imitate god. For years
Umbrella has tried to see the impossible, do the unbelieveable and create the
unimaginable. And they have. What they never thought would happen was that what
they have created would become uncontrollable. Umbrella simply would not accept
that.
The corporation has their hand in everything from making the little blue pill that
helps men with their performances to testing the t-virus on the paranormal. Umbrella
consists of people high up in the corporation that know everything that's going on
to security that help defend the secrets with-in Umbrella to people who work on the
sham part of Umbrella and have no clue what goes on in the hives. Welcome to
Umbrella Corporation.

SHAPESHIFTERS can turn into anyone they want to. The process of changing
skins is very painful, however. They have to shed their original skin to change
into the new one, and their bones change sizes and shapes. When they change into
someone, they have a way of downloading the person's thoughts, histories, personality,
EVERYTHING related to that person. So it's virtually impossible to pick out a
shapeshifter. They can only be killed by....
WEREWOLVES are creatures that come out on the full moon. However, there
are ways for werewolves to learn how to change when they want. It's mainly only
newly transformed wolves that can't control when they change, but once they've been
around for a while, it becomes easier and easier to control it. In fact, some even
choose to just never phase into their wolf-selves. However, it's still possible for them
not to be able to control it in a moment of extreme passion, anger, or sadness. They
can only be killed by silver bullets to the heart.
GHOSTS AND SPIRITS sure can cause a lot of trouble without being able to
get hurt themselves. They can choose whether or not they want to be seen, but even
if humans DO see them, they can't touch them. They're ghosts, remember? They're
definitely capable of killing people, but not all ghosts and spirits are bad. Some are
there to protect. The only way to kill them is by salting and burning their bones.
PSYCHICS have many, many different abilities. Some psychics can move things
with their minds, some can hear peoples thoughts, some can see the future, some can
talk to spirits and ghosts, and there are even more beyond that. Whether they're good or
evil is completely up to you. A lot of times, psychics have already chosen sides. Some
chose the side of the demons, and some chose the side of the hunters. Psychics are
human beings...just with special abilities.
