RULES registering· You must be 13 years of age or older to join this RPG. This is an InvisionFree rule and not ours.
· Usernames! It's simple. Register with first, middle, and last name all in lowercase!
IE: mary jane smith
· We are accepting both canons AND originals...now and forever.
· Matching it all up! If you choose a canon that has a sibling, make sure that your histories match up! If you're the first one to make a sibling, then don't worry about it. But if your character's sibling is already a member, make sure you look at their application. If one of you says you're from Chicago and one of you says you're from New York, then that'll be an issue. Also take note of the play by. If they are blonde with brown eyes, try to pick something similar.
characters· Multiple characters! You are allowed to have up to five characters. BUT! They may not all be females, nor can they all be males. We have a 2:1 rule you need to follow. If you make two female characters, your third character must be a male. And vice versa.
· No Mary-Sues. Your character is not perfect. Every single person on the planet is flawed in some way. On the contrary, we don't want to see applications with characters that are completely flawed. Make it realistic!
· Face claims! No scene queens, cartoons, or deviantart! Use only actors/actresses and models, please!
· Once you've reserved a character or started an application, you have THREE days to complete the application. If you fail to do so, the canon will be back up for grabs, and your incomplete application will be moved to the denied section. posting· This board is rated R. Which means that cussing, violence, and sexual content are allowed. Let's be realistic, this site is about the potential end of the world! Naturally, crazy shit is going to go down. However, you must mark posts containing inappropriate content with some kind of an NC-17 spoiler so people don't read something they don't want to read.
· No God-Moding. You have no right to control anyone's character but your own. You cannot make a person move or make them talk. And you especially cannot KILL anyone's character without talking to the admin first and getting both our and the other's express permission.
· Posts. The word count per post is a 300 word minimum. It isn't hard. Describe things, add depth to your character. You'll find it quite easy. With that said, this does not mean that you have to write ten paragraphs every time you post. Just make it so that the person you're roleplaying with will have something more to reply to.
· Format. Posts should be written in 3rd person, past tense. "I turn on the radio and listen to the music," is wrong. It should be "She turned on the radio and listened to the music."
· Read, read, read!!! Nothing bothers RPers more than grammatical errors and bad spelling. Both of those things are easily preventable! So re-read every single post and make sure it makes sense. If you're grammar's particularly bad, use Word. The phrase you need for the application is: goodbye blues. other· Be respectful. This is a big one for us. If you have a problem with someone, be mature about it. Talk to them about it, and try to work it out. And if you continue to have problems with somebody, contact one of the admin. We'll help work things out.
· Signatures and Avatars. We don't really care what size your signature is as long as it doesn't stretch the page. If it stretches the page, we're going to ask you to make it smaller. Your avatar can be no bigger than 100x100. No exceptions.
· ACTIVITY! This is really important. Do not join and disappear right after. Try to post on a weekly basis because there are other people who may have wanted that canon. It's unfair to them and everyone else on the site. We completely understand if you're busy or on vacation but try to give us the courtesy of posting it on the absence thread.
· Last and most important... Admins have a final say. Respect us and we'll respect you. thanks!
