STRENGTHS:
- Patient
- Observant
- Diligent
WEAKNESSES:
- Overly blunt
- White-eyed demons
- Lack of human emotional understanding
SECRETS:
- Wonders what its like to feel
- Is fascinated by human interaction

PERSONALITY:
Beatriz doesn’t know much about human emotions, she knows this, accepts it, and understands that it is something she has to deal with. Because of this reason it has made it easier for her to go with a tactless and blunt attitude towards honesty. She doesn’t spare feelings because she herself doesn’t have them to empathize with the person. She says what needs to be said and even voices her own opinion to the few humans that she encounters. Though she never goes about something in a cruel way, she has learned over the centuries that there is a way to bring about discouraging news without completely shattering the person she is talking to emotionally. She has learned to become more “empathetic” in the sense that she knows which words to use to retain her blunt nature without coming off as a bitch.

She is also a very observant person which stems back to before she was an angel. As a result she has been watching over the humans and has even grown interested in their interactions. She wonders what it is like to “feel” something, anything, again and continues to watch as a way to make herself feel an emotion. She is also very diligent in her work, never once questioning an order or failing to carry one out. As can be expected she takes God’s work without question and has never been filled with doubt. She is also very patient, after all, being an observant creature one could expect as much. She feels that the way to get something done is to wait until an opportune time prevents itself where success is most possible. She is never one to be quick to action. Also, because of her patient nature she is not hot tempered or easily angered. It takes a lot to get the wrathful side of her, preferring to take each hateful thing said to her by a human (since most of the time they are the ones angry with her) as the “price of human emotion.”

MOTHER: Elena Maria Solis
FATHER: Rollando Solis
SIBLINGS: Gabriella Sofia Solis
Hector Solis
OTHER: Alejandro Quintana (Husband)
Camila Gracia Quintana (Daughter)
HOMETOWN: Madrid, Spain
HISTORY:
Beatriz Iñes Quintana was born Beatriz Solis in Madrid, Spain on September 4th 1607. She lived a simple life as the daughter of a baker and a housewife mother. She was always an emotional girl who often fantasized about finding love much like the women in the stories her mother would tell her when she was a child. Ironically her emotional personality as a child is nothing that she could remember once she became an angel. Constantly having her head in the clouds her father, a strict and no nonsense kind of man, often scolded her for not coming down to Earth, for not abandoning the silly thoughts about love and being whisked away by a man who loves her deeply. There was a man interested in her anyway, Alejandro Quintana.

By the age of seventeen she was engaged and her mother, who for most of her life taught the young girl how to take care of a home and cook, was now prepping her daughter for her duties as a wife. Beatriz had long since abandoned hope of her knight in shining armor (so to speak) and had resolved herself to marrying a man that she otherwise probably would’ve overlooked. Not that he was an unfortunate looking man but having her head on a type of man only known in fairy tales, he never stood out to her.

Six years later, Beatriz had finally learned to love the man that she considered her husband. She bore him a baby girl named Camila and they settled into a calm life. Though nothing is all as it appeared. Beatriz contracted a disease that was rare at the time and two months later she succumbed to it. Ascending into where she earned her wings, the first few years of her divinity was spent watching over her family. But her heavenly duties tore her away and when they had withered away and future generations became unknown to her, she eventually forgot them entirely. She remembers she had a daughter, if only barely, as well as a husband and parents, after all living in the time she did, one would expect to be married and have children. But asking her what they looked like and what their names were and it was the same as talking to an amnesiac.

QUOTE
Beatriz watched over them from her place on the room of one of Seattle's high rises. Her raven hair whipped in her face and the wind that frigid wind that would make anyone shiver didn’t do a thing to her. She watched as they bustled through the streets, without a seeming care. Not knowing that unless otherwise, a hell might break loose. It was her secret to come up here, to watch them and wonder what goes on in their heads when they do what they do. Honesty seemed like an unknown thing to them. But it was human fault and it was in that sense, that perfect imperfection that fascinated her. No one could see her from where she stood and she longed to walk among them, if even for a while. Raising her head to the heavens, she then turned her attentions ahead of her before swooping down gracefully to the level of the humans.

It wasn’t unusual for angels to walk among them undetected, unnoticed. Exiting an alley inconspicuously, wearing what would be a normal human outfit; long jeans, sneakers, a button down blue shirt, and a jacket to cover her from the cold that would send anyone who could feel into the closest bar or restaurant, anything to escape the cold. She walked about them; catching stares that she couldn’t even fathom were for. Some were from men other women, some with kind smiles and others with looks that made her wonder if she crossed them somehow. The busy streets made her sway from side to side as she passed the people as one of them. Though she wasn’t one of them. She was of an order higher than them.

As she walked she looked up at the signs and she stopped at one. It had a curvy script to it and the shape of a mug behind it. Interested, she walked inside and looked around. The place looked busy, seemingly in success. She had no money, she didn’t eat. But the smell was surprisingly inviting and the chattering people made her curious. Finding a place by the window she caught the stares that she was receiving from some. She couldn’t understand it until she looked around. Everyone had someone and she had no one.

“Can I get you something?” A blonde woman asked when she approached her. Beatriz looked up at the woman almost as if observing her features. ”No thank you.” She replied with a smile, acting casual and normal though inside she was far from it. The woman smiled back at her, “All right let me know if that changes.” Beatriz nodded and watched the woman retreat into the crowd. ”Bea.” That voice. It was familiar to her. She turned to the man sitting in the chair in front of her and gave what would pass as a warm smile. ”What brings you here?” The man only smiled back in response.
