a marauders era rpg
In life, many choices are presented to us. Some believe that all their choices are already made and that their life is predestined;; they are simply following a pathway written for them millenia ago. Others think that, at each stage in their life, they are presented with two doors. One will lead them down one path, towards other choices, and one to another. When it is your time to make the choice, will you choose the open door?

"Oi, Moony! Get your head out of that book and come and play Quidditch!" Sirius' voice could be heard half way across the stadium and Remus Lupin was only sitting a few seats away. The young Black leapt playfully over the seats until he was crouched on the one beside his friend. "I know you want to help us with the Animagus thing, but me and Jamesy-boy have got it sorted. Within a few months, you'll have some beastly companions to take your full-moon rage out on. So come on!" Sirius bounded down to the pitch, grabbing his broom along the way. Sighing, Remus put down his book and went to join his friends.
Hiding in the shadows of the tunnel between the pitch and the changing rooms, Severus Snape was lurking. He watched the Marauder's with a feverent eye; he had to know what they were up to. Once a month, since their third year they had disappeared. He wanted to know where. He had tried to follow them but it seemed as if they could turn invisble. However, he knew one thing-- they're vanishing act had something to do with the Whomping Willlow. After asking the right questions, he had concreted this idea. The tree had been planted the very year that he, and the Gryffindor louts, had started at Hogwarts.

Outside the castle, evil is brewing. Dispite the normal youthful view that they are protected at school and nothing will happen to them, they are wrong. Lord Voldemort is extending his reach, gathering his followers and building his powers. No one is safe. No one is to be trusted. Even now, Hogwarts students themselves are being drawn to his cause like a moth to the flame. As the students of Hogwarts continue their odinary teenage lives, filled with lessons, parties and rampages through the school, they are blind to the menace that wishes to destroy them all. The Marauder's manage their mischief; students fall in and out of love, they argue with friends and are punished by their professors.
When it is their time to make the choice, will they choose the open door?
