General Rules- Numero Uno, and what I consider must important: respect. There's a lovely song by Aretha Franklin all about it, but I'd rather not quote her. Basically, treat people nicely. I will not say treat others how you'd like to be treated, because then people will insult others and say they don't care what people say back. Everyone be nice to everyone else, and if you have a problem with someone, PM an Admin.
- Please read the rules; otherwise, you'll be deleted faster than you can say Avada Kedevra.
- This board is Unrated; therefore you can get up to what you want. But try and keep some common sense. If you're going to have people raping others and slitting their throats in the same topic, attach some sort of warning to the topic title.
- Don't back-seat mod. This is where you act like a moderator when you aren't one. The Mods have the power to do something about a problem, whereas you don't. So don't do it.
- Please don't whine and fill the board with high school drama. Take it somewhere else. The first magic word is wand.
- Don't spam, apart from in the OOC forums; there it's okay.
- Do what we're all here for: have fun!
Roleplaying Rules- All posts must be at least 150 words; this is the bare minimum and I'd prefer to see posts longer than this. This means no one liners. Try and fill your posts with lots of interesting detail to help the person your posting with.
- Please check for typos and type in grammatically correct English. An acceptable sentence would be: We went to the beach and had lots of fun. An unacceptable sentence would be: we wen 2 da beach an hd lotz 0f fn. This is bad bad posting.
- When registering, apply with your characters first and second name. No middle names please. A good name would be: Jack Sparrow. A bad one would be: jack sparrow, Captain Jack Sparrow, Jack Michael Sparrow, jack_sparrow, or x.x.xLOVELYhunnyBUNx.x.x
- Please post in third person, and the past tense.
- Stay in canon if your are a canon.
- You are allowed a new character after thirty posts; if you would like a third character, you need a subsequent thirty posts on the second account, and so on.
- Only post in your house forums, not others. The second magic word is horcrux.
- Please post in the avatar claim once you have been approved; if you don't and someone else claims your celebrity, you'll have to change.
- You may post half-finished applications. However, don't post an application form with nothing on it.
cBox rules- Do not start huge swearing-match dramas that go on for weeks and everyone on the board remembers 'till the end of time. If one starts to flare up, it will be stopped immediately and the offenders punished.
- Please use the 'Name' feature: Put your name, and then the names of your characters e.g. Tom;; Lord Voldemort. The third magic word is elixir.
- Use proper grammar, just like posting.
- Talk about things everyone can join in on, not subjects that can only be discussed by two people.
- Follow courtesy just like in posting.
