History: When he was younger, he and his twin sister were inseperable. They unknowingly waged a war against their parents by indulging in mischievous antics that upset them. They often left something or someone damaged in their wake. A family heirloom shattered when Romulus was trying to convince Briget to play spy with him, demonstrating the death-defying stunts she could execute, such as scaling the wall by using the mantle for leverage. His forearm snapped when he clumsily fell out of a tree, failing to recover mid-flight and colliding with the firm and unbending earth. However, time inexplicably distanced them, making their bond fade very slowly. Romulus isn’t aware how it happened, but he found Fianna becoming the central friend in his life as Briget became interested in new people and things, finding less time to devote to her relationship with her twin.
Romulus became aware of his magical abilities at the age of eight. He had always been aware of Fianna’s episode with fire since it had occurred, but he secretly worried about his future until he accidentally made several small objects levitate for a few brief seconds in his room. Since there were no witnesses at the time, he began to doubt himself and the validity of his argument, but the letter of acceptance from Hogwarts came eventually, and it didn’t fail to pleasantly surprise him. He was genuinely proud to be sorted into Ravenclaw, for while no one rebuked Fianna for being selected for Gryffindor, his family was always discussing the prestige that came from many bloodlines being dubbed members of the house. Despite her contrasting personality, his twin was also designated to Ravenclaw.
During his career at Hogwarts, Romulus has shied away from the Muggle sport of soccer and has embraced Quidditch. Whether playing competitively or only with friends, he generally puts effort into the matches he participates in. He has progressed over the years, sharpening both his mental and physical knowledge concerning the sport, but he continues to feel drawn into Fianna’s shadow. He admires her knack for it and enjoys watching her games when it’s Gryffindor against Slytherin or Hufflepuff. His grades were merely average for his first four years of school. He was always intelligent and just as capable of learning as anyone else, but he was routinely distracted by the prospect of meeting new people and trying new things. His marks sometimes crawled slightly higher before being smothered again. Recently, however, he has feverishly attached himself to his childhood aspiration of becoming an Auror, and he has worked harder to elevate his grades and keep them floating above the current. When examined in the context of the last two years, the extra hours of studying haven’t detained him from enjoying the remainder of what Hogwarts has to offer.

Appearance: Even though he has shared his existence with his twin sister from the very start, as the years have slowly passed, the two of them have failed to maintain an extremely solid resemblance. If they were traveling side by side, any witness wouldn’t have reason to assume that they were so closely related. Time has carved the build of his face to possess a fairly wide-set jaw and high-set cheekbones. Whenever a smile graces his features, two noticeable dimples gently pinch his skin. His height exceeds the limitations of both of his sisters’. At his last measurement, the results informed him that he was five feet ten and a half inches tall, although his age implies that the chance of those numbers increasing is slim. His weight is average for someone of his height and age, hardly ever subject to fluctuation. His skin sports a slightly pale and flat hue, the tone caught somewhere between his two sisters’. The sunlight has bronzed it slightly on the edges due to spending time outdoors. Since he became interested in Quidditch a few years ago, he has slowly improved his physical condition, the practices and matches teaching him to push himself farther and become tougher and stronger in the process.
His hair is dark, seemingly black during the colder winter months when he’s more reluctant to stray outside and endure the harsher conditions. During spring, summer, and autumn, it can be persuaded by its contact with the sunlight to shift to a very dark brown, the same color that swims in his eyes. His hair itself is coarse to the touch, several curls often unable to be banished from his scalp, but the short length of it makes the majority of futile employments of a comb unnecessary. On a personal level, he doesn’t deem himself particularly attractive, nor unattractive – he believes he has attained a balance. His typical attire during a weekend consists of a presentable polo shirt or solid-colored t-shirt with jeans, and a button-up shirt with a collar if he wants to dress up for a special occasion. Shoes, those things that people wear on their feet for the main purpose of dragging through the dirt and mud, are always a last priority and can range from tennis shoes to dress shoes to simple sandals when the weather permits it. He tries to look nice, but is never fond of wasting much time preparing himself to appear acceptable to the public. He dresses comfortably and for his own personal satisfaction. He doesn’t often neglect his school robes during the academic week, wishing to get some practical use out of his Ravenclaw paraphernalia.
Personality: For the most part, Romulus is an easy-going, friendly individual, preferring to place acquaintances on pedestals before he really gets to know them and identify their flaws. Frequently they’re incapable of keeping their balance and they fall off of the high place where he put them, but despite these previous cases of disappointment he still refuses to be pessimistic about anyone if they have yet to commit a crime in his eyes. He trusts fairly easily, hoping that the loyalty he shows toward someone will inspire them to treat him in the same manner, but when he is caught off guard and betrayed, he is extremely slow to pursue a reconciliation. He can hold a grudge for a long time and has been known to make an enemy or two because of his unwillingness to forgive and forget. Romulus is often very laid-back, and it takes some effort to rile him up, but once his patience runs out, he flaunts a temper like everyone else.
He possesses an admiration for reading and learning and can therefore be considered an intelligent individual, having amassed much knowledge during his experiences and studies. He exudes an aura of confidence which can sometimes be misconstrued as arrogance, his tendency to make slightly sarcastic remarks in innocent fun not always able to help him since they can be interpreted as a display of immodesty. His habit of daydreaming provides him with ample time to subsequently reminisce on any number of things, including what someone said or did, and whether their actions or words can be taken at face value. He can analyze and over-think a truth until it is so twisted from its original form that it’s now false. Even though he doesn’t like it when others incorrectly judge his own actions or words, it isn’t enough to keep him from unknowingly being a hypocrite every now and then.
