Department of Mysteries Staff Found Dead
Last night the dead bodies of Artemis Fudge and Adrian Diggory were taken from the Ministry of Magic. This reporter was present at the scene and the bodies had no signs of the cause of death. As most wizards know, the only spell that leaves no trace is the killing curse itself; a spell that is classed as Unforgivable and will earn its caster a one-way trip to Azkaban.
The bodies were removed at twenty past eleven, though it is uncertain as to when the deaths took place. Fudge and Diggory were both Unspeakables, working in the Department of Mysteries deep in the Ministry. Although murder has not been ruled out, motive is plain: though it is unknown what the two were working on, the employees of the Department are supposedly study various natural phenomena, such as Time and Death.
The Minister is expected to give a speech later this week, commenting on both how someone was killed inside the Ministry and who is under suspicion.
