Dungeons [&] Lower Levels
The lowest level of Hogwarts, rarely does a student wander down here without reason. Potions classes are held here, and the Slytherins find their Common Room at the end of a corridor, but those are the only real puposes of travel here.

Main Floor
The first thing that someone notices when entering Hogwarts is the Entrance Hall, which leads to just about everything you could want to see inside the school. Beware - the staff room is annexed here, making it easy access for them to get to a misbehaving student.

First Floor
With little to draw attention to this floor, the only reason that it's given any attention is because of the classrooms. More commonly, it's a place to meet friends after meals on the floor below.

Second Floor
More or less a deserted floor, there's nothing worth coming to see here beyond the empty classrooms. Then again, no one really wants to come here, what with the haunted bathroom just around the corner.

Third Floor
For the most part, this floor is avoided by students solely because Filch gives so many detentions here. However, it's rather comforting once you get past the ever-lasting scent of polish drifting down the hall from the trophy room.

Fourth Floor
Tending to be one of the busier levels of the castle, it's quite often that people run into friends on the way to the library or back from an empty classroom. Watch out for what door you choose to open, however; people don't always like the extra company.

Fifth Floor
Used for lounging around, the fifth floor is the place where boys and girls come just to break away from the trails of day to day life. Walk the halls, or sit in an extra room - just make sure that you enjoy the time off that you have to yourself before the new day begins.

Sixth Floor
Another leisure corridor, this floor is used for simple joys in life. Snog your mate, or cut through to a secret room using the hidden passage way - whatever you prefer to do so long as you stay out of trouble.

Seventh Floor
The last level of the building - excluding the towers - and what a view it provides! Not only that, but there's a certain level of mystery about this floor that draws students from all houses, if only to try and figure it out.

The Towers
The highest part of the school, the towers extend high above the actual building and near Quidditch-playing level. If ever you need to check conditions, this is a great place to come.

The Whomping Willow
An enchanted tree that was planted six years ago and won't dare miss the opportunity to hit an unsuspecting student with its thick branches. Most of people avoid this tree at all costs, not wanting to end up in the hospital wing. From a distance, one can see the branches sway back and forth even when there is no gust of wind to blow them.

The Lake
A place where students can relax, talk, and watch the gentle rippling of the waves on the glossy surface of the lake. Also, if you can sit long enough to study the surface, you can see the thick, long tentacle of the Giant Squid that lives in the dark depths of the lake.

The Forbidden Forest
Located on the far edge of Hogwarts' grounds, students are strictly not allowed to enter the forest - at all. There are rumors of many dangerous creature that roam the forest. Only dare adventure here if you truly understand the consequences that can arise.

Quidditch Pitch
Seven to a team, three balls, and one Snitch. Every student can come for the matches against opposing Houses, or the actual Quidditch players can attend pratice. Most people come here when they have some free time to practice their playing skills, and continue to dream of making the team next year.

Greenhouses
Used mainly for two reasons - being the cultivation of magical plants and Herbology classes - the greenhouses are mainly unavoided except by those that care about the lessons and subject. Otherwise, there is no real reason to end up around the place.

Diagon Alley
Anyone that needs school supplies can simply ship away to here, or swing by during break. Nearly everything that you need for a successful year can be found here, be it from candies, to books, to pets, to potions supplies. No wonder this place always has someone roaming the streets!

Hogsmeade
This is the most populated town in all of England in terms of the Wizarding World. Anything that's not in Diagon Alley can most positively be found here. Not only that, but there are a number of different types of people that wouldn't regularly be found elsewhere.

The Ministry of Magic
If anything should go wrong in London or the areas around it, the Ministry of Magic will be sure to have a look around at it. With seven floors filled with all the departments needed to ensure safety and order, it's safe to assume this place is busy almost twenty four seven.

St. Mungo's
Have an illness that you just can't seem to cure? Did someone cop a joke on you in which the effects won't leave you? St. Mungo's Hospital of Magical Maladies and Injuries is just about positively the place that you're going to want to go with regards to it. If they can't fix it, then, well, let's just say too bad and move on.

For those of you that are out of school and need a place to stay, it's quite possible that you're going to be around here. Those that decide to stay among the Muggles are welcomed never the less, but have to be wary of where they tread.

Arcades & Shopping
Video games are one of the best way to pass the time when you're bored and you have a few extra dollars worth of change on you. Come on in and hang out with friends, or just to be there. And when it comes to shopping, the area is a place filled with more stores that you could imagine. With a wide variety of things available at one's disposal, it's hard not to like the place.

Bars & Underground Casinos
Gambling and drinking is the life of all people who need that extra thrill and rush late at night. While they aren't strictly allowed, these places are a great way to enjoy yourself if you're both of legal age - but then again, who really listens to that one? - and need somewhere to be.

Cinema
Muggles seem to have done something worth while when it comes to their films. Something about them is just terribly amusing to the Wizarding World, and provides the near two hour streak of entertainment that is being looked for nine out of ten times.

Restraunts
There's nothing like Muggle foods to stimulate the appetite when the good stuff is out of reach. Then again, depending on tastes, this very well could be the "good stuff" you've been looking for. When a Pumpkin Pasty isn't in reach, stop by for something quick to eat.

For those of Muggle blood who want to live among their families, this very well could be the place you'll want to be. At the same time, it may just be because you're into the non-magical kind of people that you've chosen to stick around. Either way the ball rolls, keep your abilities a secret.
