Grounds The sloping green lawns of Hogwarts seem to go on forever before being swallowed up by the Forbidden Forest. When warm weather strikes, students can be found all over the grounds to catch fresh air during their breaks from classes. Wander out to the lake or maybe check out the stables where some animals are kept, both magical and non. But be warned, wandering into the dark forest is not permitted.

Around Hogwarts While the locations are outside, for the most part, they are still part of the buildings themselves. Students are free to wander around without restriction during the day (aside from the Astronomy Tower), but when night falls, it is ill-advised to be found walking about.

Quidditch Quidditch is the wonder wizarding sport played on brooms. Come watch your house's Quidditch on the pitch or practice on the practice field. Or maybe sneak out into the team lockers to steal someone's change of clothes.

Diagon Alley Diagon Alley is home to many shops and stores in which students can purchase all of their school supplies. At the end of August, it's bustling with activity as the students get in their last minute shopping done. The portal can be opened by tapping the brick (three up, two across) behind the Leaky Cauldron.

Hogsmeade Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding town in all of England, founded by Hengist of Woodcroft who was fleeing from persecution by Muggles. The village is full of quaint cottages and stores in a rather picturesque manner. Students of Hogwarts, third years and above, can enjoy the delights of Hogwarts on designated weekends.
