Name: Ifukube Kahoko
Age: 16 Blood Type: B Birthday: May 30 Kahoko suffered severe burns on her face and body from a car accident in her childhood, which also killed her parents. Being an orphan, she currently lives with her aunt and uncle, who also have control of her massive inheritance until she reaches adulthood. Because of the physical and emotional scars left from the accident, Kahoko is highly repressed, constantly hiding behind a mask of polite cheerfulness. Whenever she lets her true feelings slip out, she becomes extremely embarrassed and won’t speak. She secretly believes that she is nothing but a burden, so she goes along with what anyone asks of her, no matter how difficult, and says with a smile that she’s happy to help. Anyone who knows her thinks that she is a good person, but no one seems to be able to catch her outside of school, or indeed have anything resembling true friendship with her. Unfortunately, there is also a handful of students who dislike Kahoko and exploit her submissiveness. Kahoko is extremely skilled in the cooking and homemaking arts, but she has an overwhelming fondness for eggplant. Ideas: * You discover Kahoko at a market street, shopping for dinner. * Kahoko is being bullied by female delinquents, and you have to save her… But she tells you it’s okay. Why? * You decide to surprise Kahoko with a boxed lunch. She’s shy about it, but it’s all eggplant so she can’t resist. * Visiting her home, you discover that Kahoko has every episode of a popular idol concert show on tape (in a hidden drawer, of course). This may or may not give you an idea for the upcoming school festival. *Your heart problems have taken a turn for the worse. Kahoko, ignoring your protests, begs her aunt and uncle to allow the inheritance to be used on your operation. Notes: I just chose her name because it's old-fashioned, unusual and kind of tongue-twisty. Something like Hanako would do just as well, though. As long as it ends in the traditional "ko," I suppose. So, thoughts? |

Wouldn't a fire fit better than a car accident? I'm just saying. Also, if you look at the original picture she's supposed to be the emo one with a huge complex about her burns. I like the rest of the story though.

Fire tends to be an element in really bad car accidents, too. People die from being trapped inside a burning car before rescuers can get to them. But the exact nature of the accident is open for change, really. I don't mind either way.
Forgot to mention that: She is highly avoidant of any possibility of romance, because she honestly believes that someone as ugly as her, and someone who's caused as much suffering as she has, doesn't deserve to be loved. So, still emo. Just very good at hiding it. |

I don't like the car accident idea. Car accidents are overused and yeah a fire or something would be more likely. Hell, maybe even a chemical burn like one of the girls bullying her threw something at her. But such a burn in a car accident is kind of strange.

Damn, that would be... horrible (in that wonderful way). Though the parents couldn't die and leave a big inheritance that way. Hmm. Well, food for thought. |

I'm agreeing that a fire might be better. Maybe she accidentally caused it as a child, so she feels responsible.

I like this idea. It would be a good reason for her to leave her old school and go to the school for disabled. |

Wow. I gotta say, I really like that concept. I'd be sure to emphasize her dislike of her burns, and of her body in general, though. Like, she always wears shirts with high collers or necks to cover the ones on her neck, and keeps her hair down so that it hangs over that part of her face. I'd even go so far as to say she would flinch at human contact, and draw away if somone got to near the scarred part of her body.
Which brings up another question. How large is her scarring? Besides whats on her face, I mean. Is it all down that side of her body? Just on her neck and face? You can't really tell from the picture we have. |

It could be a bit larger, perhaps covering part of her shoulder or arms or something like that. I can imagine her hiding her body by wearing long sleeves and such. |

A bit overdramatic and overused, but eh. |

I'd say pretty it should be pretty big. Then she can be paranoid about swimming as well. |

Sup Hisui. But I really like that as well. As for the size of the scar, I think having it cover a bit larger area would be interesting, but not too large (maybe a shoulder or something). |

I would say one side of her body should be scarred. I would draw one visualizing it with MSPaint but I'm kinda at work now, so that would have to wait.

No, one side of her body is way too much.
Her face, and maybe a few burn scars on her chest and some tiny ones on her neck would be good. Not too much, but enough to make her shy to the point where she is very reserved about sex due to the burns on her chest and does things like wear collars a lot to hide her neck scars. It's very moe. Don't overdo it with the scars. |

Maybe the burns could reach out until some part of her shoulder. Maybe reaching a little around her chest. Gives off more of the feeling why she is very hesitant in entering into a relationship.
