I also have another melody in my head; and have acutataully scored it before jsut mashing at the score editor (like the previous attempts). I hae a bit of free time at work tomorrow so I'll take along my lappy and have a crack at it. You konw how you jsut get those sudden flashes?

odd. It could be that the ports (6660-7000) are being blocked by your firewall. That happens a lot.

Try unblocking those ports.

Also, an arrangement might take a week or two, so I'll wait until I get CS4 before rendering it.
I might also buy the Steinberg Grand; friggin awesome piano synth.
(On a technical note, I found that you had waaaay too much verb on that track... but that's just me XD)

I'll churn out a couple more two-measure themes, hopefully they'll inspire some more thought. This "free-forming" is leaiding us in awesome directions. As I mentioned to TcDohl the other day, writing themes with simply the girls in mind is a good start, but we might find that we end up creating a theme for another girl, or some awesome BGM.

Finally, meowshi seems to exist now. He shoudl be posting shortly (hopefully )

Hey guys, sorry to have abandonded you over the past coupel of days. The show I'm workign on has been a major, and I mean MAJOR, headache.

But enough about that.

I've just spent a wad of cash on upgrades, including CS4, A 2-octave controller and a sample bank (which turns out not to be so great, however HALion comes with CS4).

CS4 comes on monday, and I think next week is slightly more relaxed.

Anyway, I haven't forgotten about this little thread, and I have bashed a few keys and come up with one or two ideas that I'm going to work on for a bit; jstu themes once again.
Also, once I install CS4 I'll try to give Regal Theme a bit of orchestral loving.

For the time being, I think we shoudl still be trying to throw arodnu a few Themes, however I think we can also afford to startto take little diversions; follow a tune and see where it leads you.

Anyway, in the meantime, lots of love etc, I'll be posting some new stuff sometime monday, and I eagerly await the next peice from this board.

Oh, and for those wondering about the odd name of this one (Ikuradesuka- "How much is this?"), I noticed that in jap class, people that *don't* follow the language have this really odd cadence and melody to their speech; characterised by the first two bars. After that, I kinda just... went with the flow.
