- Hair Color: Brown
- Eye Color: Blue
- Skin Tone: White
- Height: 5'8"
- Weight: 110 lbs.
- Build: Slender

In her youth, the Mithran Princess was quite attractive, some would even deign to say beautiful, and, from her earliest teenage years, she was never for lack of men courting her. However, the fact that her father had died when she was incredibly young, with other factors, meant that no formal contracts were made, as would be normal in that time for a major Serdian noble house.

Since that time, while she has clearly aged, and is no longer the willowy teenager she was long ago, she is still quite attractive. Her hair has not yet begun to show signs of age, though her eyes certainly have. A small, perfectly crescent-shaped scar half-circling her left eye, with a (when visible) tattoo of black, ancient style lettering along the bottom of her left arm show the changes the woman has gone through since that more carefree time before the Revolution.

She is extremely old-fashioned, though in a manner not uncommon for witches, in her dress. She always wears a combination of blues and silvers wrapped in a traditional robe, with a silver Hexagram, the sign of the House Mithran, hanging visibly from her neck at all times.

Personality

Before the hard days of revolution and difficulty, Tatyanna was very much a student. As a potentially very powerful witch (for a human), being trained by a variety of magic-users hired by the Mithran Family before being apprenticed to one for a decade starting at age 11, she always voraciously sought knowledge, not only having to do with her Craft but even in the background, as well as completely useless knowledge.

Tatyanna was never good at taking responsibility when she was at fault for something, even when she clearly was so. She never saw the need to go slowly in her magical studies, moving forward probably much more quickly than she should have. However, she was already one of the most powerful magic users in Serdio by the time she ended her apprenticeship.

All of this, however, collapsed with the Revolution. Tatyanna disappeared to Elsewhere, neither hide nor hair seen of her since the execution of her elder brother. Upon her return, well after restoration, Tatyanna has changed. While she remains a voracious seeker of knowledge, she is much more subtle, and less quick about it. She is a much harder woman, the fluttering optimism of her teenage years replaced with a hard realism approaching pessimism about human nature in general, though her optimistic side shows at times. She is far wiser and more selective in her words than she once was.

History

Tatyanna was the second, and final child, of the Alain-Louis Mithran, Head of the Princely House of Mithran (a high noble bloodline closely related to the Rlugia Dynasty). Alain-Louis died shortly after her birth, leaving the Princedom to her older brother, Elessar, at a young age. Tatyanna was, uncharacteristically for many little sisters, very close to her older brother, the two being nearly inseparable early in life. As their educations diverged, they became less close, but an essential bond remained for the rest of Elessar's life.

At an early age, as the House of Mithran was very high up in the nobility, she was brought to Mystice, where her very high, powerful magical potential was noticed by the sorcerer Shayaateen, the chief advisor to then-King Edouard. He recommended various magic practitioners for her early training and, when she reached age 11, he took her as his own apprentice, teaching her his own magics. She studied hard and carefully, dedicating herself to her studies and her decade long apprenticeship ended in her being an extremely powerful witch, dedicated to the Black Arts, though with some ability in other magics. As Shayaateen's apprentice, she worked with him constantly, including during the wars at the beginning of King Drake's reign. Her apprenticeship ended with Shayaateen's disappearance around the end of the wars.

On ending, she returned to help manage the affairs of the House of Mithran, as her brother was, by now, an adviser to King Drake. However, too soon after this came the Revolution. In the early phases, her brother's attempts to moderate the Revolution failed, leading to the eventual escape of the King and to her own brother's execution by the radical revolutionaries. After warrants were issued for her capture, Tatyanna slaughtered the initial unit sent to arrest her and escaped to Sac Fin. While the revolutionaries did break into Sac Fin, Tatyanna entered a mysterious Mithran portal, to the island of Ailleurs, an island of unknown location in a far-flung area of Zelpha. As Tatyanna, being the last remaining Mithran, was the only person knowing the password to open the portal, she was safely gone.

Tatyanna spent the next long while living among the seven noble families of Ailleurs, which, by rights, belongs to Mithran, as the de facto ruler of this Serdio away from Serdio. Periodically, though with growing rarity, she would sneak back through the portal, seeking any sign the revolution had been defeated, but would always return defeated. Eventually, she married, becoming the second wife of the Comte du Thermon, and stopped returning to Serdio entirely. She took her potentially powerful stepdaughter, Aurelie, as an apprentice when she reached age 9.

However, shortly after she had, with some difficulty, managed to conceive with the Comte, he died in an equestrian accident. She eventually gave birth to her son, Alphonse, two years ago. After Alphonse was old enough to do without his mother for any length of time (for Tatyanna, having been living among the odd divergence of Serdian culture found on Ailleurs, was her son's own nurse), Tatyanna once again checked Serdio, finding the Restoration having occurred, a year ago. After making her living status known among the Royal Family, having told Empress Sabriel in a short encounter, Tatyanna returned once again to Ailleurs to settle her affairs there.

Now, a year after, she returns to Serdio, her son and stepdaughter in tow, to retake her rightful place as the Head of House Mithran. As the monarchy are already in awareness, though most of the nobility are not, it should be relatively smooth - or, at least, so Tatyanna hopes.

The small, yet voluptuous, young Aurelie is just ending her puberty. She is considered extremely attractive, the combination of her eyes and hair only adding to her beauty. She has very little muscle mass or fat, however, and does not have the appearance of a threat. Also, she does not hold herself in a confident manner at all, always tending to look overwhelmed and nervous, except occasionally around those she knows very well.

Aurelie is a quiet, reserved girl, who has a tendency to stammer when speaking. She tends to be nervous around people, except those she knows well - especially men. She has no mind for politics whatsoever, being unable to convincingly lie or even exaggerate.

However, she is a very honest, optimistic person, and tends to see the best in people, no matter how bad they are. She is an upbeat person to those who get to know her, and is very encouraging toward others, always. She forms attachments with difficulty, but when someone has her loyalty, it is very hard to break it.

History

Aurelie was born, the only and very late child of the Comte du Thermon and the Vicomtesse Marue, on Ailleurs fifteen years ago. Her mother died only a few years after her birth, and was soon after replaced by her stepmother, the Princesse Mithran. Aurelie's ancestors were various nobility and their relatives, exiled to Ailleurs by order of the Kings of Serdio over a period of many years, ending approximately a century ago. The only contact between Ailleurs and Serdio has ever been through the portal to Sac Fin, and thus, only Mithrans have come and gone from the island since exile.

Seven noble families, ultimately, lived on Ailleurs, and Aurelie was brought up among them. While the exile could have been ended, these were now basically unlanded nobility - and were perfectly happy in the situation on Ailleurs, where they co-ruled over various parts of the islands with their own commoners serving under them, even cut off from Serdio in general.

Aurelie inherited her mother's title, the Vicomtie Marue, on her mother's death. On her ninth birthday, her stepmother officially took her as an apprentice, teaching her the basics of magic for years. While, officially, Aurelie remains Tatyanna's apprentice, Aurelie is far more self-studying at this point, as her gifts are oriented to the white magics, very different from her stepmother's black magical focus.

Neither her father nor stepmother really cared one way or the other when it was revealed that Aurelie, at the young age of fourteen, had had a nearly year-long affair with the seventeen-year old daughter of another Ailleurs noble house. While the latter was scandalized and disinherited, Aurelie was merely punished for getting caught. Of course, it was clear at the time that the much more domineering older girl had manipulated the shy Aurelie into the relationship, though Aurelie was not totally unwilling (and, indeed, has eyes only for other women, though she will not admit such).

With her father's death during her stepmother's pregnancy, Aurelie became one of the joint caregivers for her younger half-brother, with the few household servants and her stepmother. When her stepmother announced, a year ago, that they would be returning to Sac Fin and Esto Gaza for good, she made clear her intentions to stay with her teacher and brother, and has now returned to Serdio with Tatyanna, a whole new world for her to see and experience.
