Title: PARTY!
Description: When? Where? Etc.

Alright, input needs to be made to decide on party. We need to know what day is good for people, what time, and suggestions for where. Carol and I were thinking that it would be more feasible to go to a restaurant where it's not a big deal with splitting the check, or where we pay individually up front. She thought Café Express would be good (I've never been, so I don't have any judgement on that). But, suggestions are always good.

David and I were also talking about doing something at my house the evening after the June 18 event. We don't have to dig till 7:30 (we can "close" when we want) so people could come over here after breaking down and stay for a few hours (perhaps stopping along the way to pick up beverages of choice!). We can order pizza for eats, or if people would rather they can bring things, but Herman and I can spring for a few pizzas.

Also, if you want to shower or whatever here, our guest "shack" would be available as shower central. Towels and toiletries happily provided! The yard is in good shape now (some of you will remember being here when we were in the throes of landscaping) so there would be both inside and outside places to hang.

So you all decide and let me know. The restaurant idea is fine with me too.

I'm totally okay with that... it sounds reasonable. We could probably all chip in and help pay for some pizzas and pick up beverages on the way there (and bring them in a cooler to the dig with a "Do not touch" label on them). However, do we know if a lot of people are going to be able to make it to the Juneteenth event yet? Hopefully, if they can't go to that, they can at least go to the party afterward. Any students want to join in the fun? Eh, eh?

By the way, I should be able to attend Juneteenth... I've already informed my manager of it (and we'll act accordingly depending on how LOTR is doing at that point).

Okay the party is in 4 days and I am not sure what the plans are. What time are we meeting at the Yates house? Afterwards are we going to go out to eat? Are we still having a party? Someone fill me in! :-)
