Living Room

This room has plenty of space for people as they come and go. These walls have seen many memories and hardships. In the room there are plenty of places to sit. A couch, love seat, chairs placed about the room. This is one of the main hang-out rooms for students. A little bit of everything is here to relax.

A large screened TV sits on one end of the room across from many of the seats. There is however a small seating arrangement in one corner accompanying a bookcase. The selection is nowhere near that of the library but it does have some classic reading material, as well as a stack of magazines (pre-screened by the teachers) for those of a different taste.

John had walked in since the door was already opened.

Raya was in the room, sitting on the couch and watching the TV. Really there wasn't a whole lot for her to do at the moment.

John had walked up to a chair and sat down.

Raya moves her gaze to see John.

: Hello.

John turns and looks at Raya but doesn't say anything.

: What's your name? I'm Raya.

John stares at Raya a while before saying that he was John.

: John? That's a good name. You seem familiar for some reason. Not sure why though.

John doesn't really say anything else but looks at the television.

Raya seemed to be watching something on the animal channel. Fitting really considering her genetic makeup.

Every once and a while John would look at Raya.

After the show ended Raya glanced at John again. It was kind of hard to tell but it felt like there was something about him that she'd seen before. It was then that she noticed that Alessa had come into the room.

Alessa: Excuse me, Raya?
: Yes?
Alessa: Could follow me and help me with something please?
: I guess so. *looks at John again* I'll be right back.
Alessa: *smiles a bit* Thank you. It's just outside.

Alessa waited for Raya to catch up before heading outside.

John sits there and keeps looking at the tv.

John sat still staring at the television.

Linda walked by and glanced into the room. While she disappeared from view for a moment she came back when she realized John was in the room.

John sat there sitting and still staring at the television he kind of didn't get how it was working.

Linda slowly makes her way over to John. She sits down next to him and looks over at him. She stayed silent at first, to no surprise.

John keeps staring at the television, then he heard someone, and turned to see Linda sitting next to him.

: Hey there.

John takes a while to say hello back.

He gives Linda a smile for a while before turning back and looking at the television and wondering.
