The Next Movie?

Does anybody know if they are making one for all the books? i presume they are, since they left the 1st one so unfinished and there is a second book? buti cannot find anything about it on google...

The problem is, so much of the movie was screwed up, the latter movies might not work out.

They might make another movie, but it will be even farther from the book than was the case with Eragon. And since Empire (name pending, of course) has not been finished and publised yet, I really doubt the next movie will be able to follow the final book... They may have hit a dead end, but we'll see.

I agree with Airy, the first movie was just way too screwed up.

The problem is the first movie was done very poorly and they didn't even set it up right for a sequel (Scar he gets, the "kripple who is whole" guy never spoke to him, and the twins weren't even in it). There are other things but you get the idea as to what I'm saying about a sequel.

they have to make Eldest and "Empire" and if they do the same for Eldest as they have for Book 3 (for names sake) then they will not tell us until it is on out door step

I think it's possible that they will put the scene where Eragon hears from the dragon rider in the beginning of the movie, but it was completely wrong that they didn't show that Eragon's scar hurt more than just when he first received it. And since they left out Roran's girlfriend, the next movie is going to be even farther from the book than the first if they decide to make it...

I think they will. It isn't really the fans of the book they are aiming for. They want to impress the people who have never heard of the book but love fantasy. It's common place to have the movie version of the book very different since the book often contains too much to accurately put into the movie. Still, they left out too much of importance this time... I just hope Chris P. decides to put in some restrictions as to how much they can change the next time he sells the rights.

I would indeed be a big fan if they came out with another one, however I don't want to see the book get twisted so much.

The first movie kind off sucked.

I would still watch it, even if it was completely screwed up. I would then leave the theater and be mad about wasting $10 and two hours watching a bad movie, like I was after Eragon.
