Rock of Kuthian/Vault of Souls

So, I was really bored while writing an English paper, and I randomly flipped open Eragon and read the part with the werecat's prediction. It goes something like this: "When all seems lost, go to the Rock of Kuthian and speak your name to open the Vault of Souls."

Anyways, I have a couple theories on where it is:

1)Helgrind
2)Utgard mountain-no one could reach there but the riders.
3)Vroengard
4)That place in the Hadarac Desert that's a huge rock where Saphira says she wants to return to later.

Anyone have any ideas?

If I had to guess I'd say the place in the Hadarac Desert......glad I don't have to guess

It could be back in the spine. C.P. could then use it to tie the story together and end it where it all began. Its a possibility, but I find it unlikely, but I still think there will be a return to the spine. I think the most probable location will be off the mainland on Sharktooth or some other island that C.P. has failed to use thus far.

Honestly, I don't think the question you should be asking is "Where is the Rock of Kuthian?" but rather, "What is the Vault of Souls?" I think it will end up being a way to communicate or even interact with the Riders who were lost. Specifically, to speak with Brom, Oromis (Face it, he's a dead man walking), and Eragon the first. Possibly Morzan to clear up issues with Murtagh. Other than that, the only souls left would be Eragon's mother, Uncle Garrow, or if Arya, Murtagh, or Roran die prematurely.

well i think that a good place for them would be in the mountains of Hadarac, it just seem right to me
