I can be very sneaky when I want to be. Who'd have thought?
But I've been brilliant! Yesterday I very nearly made something that might actually be useful. It just... needs... something... Not sure what yet, though.

You make things that aren't useful? That's news to me, mate. Anyway, you'll probably figure it out soon enough. You always do, don't you? It's probably something random; randomness seems to be key in the success of a lot of things.
Well, you know, useful to other people. You know how some people are. They just don't get certain things sometimes. Like the other day I made this grey ooze type thing that can extinguish flames. I thought it was pretty cool. But everyone else I talk to says stuff like "Why don't you just use water?" You could in a pinch, I guess, but that's just so boring.

Well, sounds to me like those people aren't considering all the possibilities. What if water is not available? As well as their wand? Best to keep something like this ooze around in those scenarios. Oh, well. There isn't much to do if people don't bother to listen, eh? I'd be happy to obtain some of this ooze for myself, though, if it's not too much trouble.
Well, well, well. I suppose I could tell you - can't hurt, yeah?
It is one of the greatest holidays of April! The birthday of the great Harry Berkwood. You've heard of him, haven't you?
Nah, not too much trouble. I've been meaning to try making it again, anyway. Caused sort of a mess last time. Got to find a way to avoid that. Maybe a guard over the cauldron? Or less heat... I don't know, I'll figure it out. Or just get really good at cleaning stuff up. Either way it's a win-win.
That name does sound awfully familiar! Is it time already? I could've sworn it was still March. "Calendar" should probably be at the top of my wishlist, huh?

Well, you know I'm always up for cleaning. So, I suppose I could play "cleaning wench" for you if the mess is a bit more than you'd care to clean yourself. I'd prefer to not wear a "wench" costume though; that's a tad bit too far for me.
Oh, dear. What's happened to my friend? Would such a normal thing like a calender really be at the top of your wishlist?
Well... I suppose if that's what you're into nowadays, I couldn't possibly deny you your wish. Of course, I did have a certain thing planned that involved something about an old map I may or may not have stumbled upon whilst in the older sections of the library. Ah, but a calendar is surely something obtainable too.
My proposition: How about we get you a nice calender with cauldrons and little dragons, and then we go off on an expedition?
I promise, no wench costume. I wouldn't even know where to get one.
Now, now, no need to talk crazy. Calendars are nice and all, but that seems more like a gift for a more boring holiday. Like... Arbor Day. What is Arbor Day? Whatever. A map you say? I'm in. I'm in, I'm in, I'm in. Also, I'm in.
