Egon Spengler-Taken
Dr. Egon Spengler, Ph.D. is a former paranormal studies teacher at the University of Columbia. Upon his termination, Egon founded along with Ray Stantz and Peter Venkman Ghostbusters Inc. He is considered the brain behind the Ghostbusters and has designed and built nearly all of their equiptment including the proton pack and the Storage facility. Egon is currently seeing Liz Holten, a sweet, science lover, and fellow Ghostbuster.

Ray Stantz-Taken
Dr. Ray Stantz was one of the original Ghostbusters and was one of the most devoted to the pursuit of studying the paranormal. The heart of the Ghostbusters, Ray's devotion to the company was obvious when he mortgaged his parents' house to provide the capital to begin Ghostbusters, Inc. Ray was also handy man and largely responsible for the repair and modification of the Ecto-1. He wasn't particularly religious, but did seem to believe in a spiritual realm of sorts. Ray is in a relationship currently with Jazz Spektor, one of the new recruits.

Peter Venkman-Taken
Peter Venkman is one of the original Ghostbusters. He has doctorates in both psychology and parapsychology. Peter is portrayed as the "lazy" Ghostbuster. He doesn't usually take his work seriously, is very sarcastic and flirts with women, including clients such as Dana Barrett. While Peter is a scientist, he isn't as experienced or academically inclined as Egon and Ray, and also tends to be more aggressive when fighting ghosts.

Winston Zeddemore-Taken
Winston Zeddemore was the last member to join the original Ghostbusters. He saw a job advertisement in the wanted ads, and replied. As a part of his employment interview, he had to state that he believed in many paranormal activities, but it is likely that he didn't really believe all of the statements read to him, based on his own admission that he'd believe anything as long as there was a steady paycheck involved. Winston is something of an everyman who is generally more practical and down-to-earth than his teammates.


Judie 'Jazz' Spektor
Second of the new recruits, Jazz is another student of Egon's. Jazz is a funny person, she loves to play guitar, and when she’s bored, she has a habit of playing jokes on anyone she can get her hands on. She is your typical lay-about, she would rather play Rock-Band than actually do some work, but, she will do the work…once she’s nagged about it. She got her nickname Jazz from her love of all thing music, and her last name, Spektor, actually used to be a source of great mockery to her classmates, although it now holds more meaning to her. She is currently in a relationship with Ray Stantz.

Elizabeth 'Liz' Holten
Nerdy yet pretty, Liz is the scientific counterpart to Egon. She is very quiet, creative , sensitive and a perceptive soul who often strike others as shy, reserved and cool. She also has a rare capacity for deep caring and commitment, both to the people and causes they idealize. But on the other side she is also a very opened girl that enjoys the time she has now then worry about the future. Even though she is a very intelligent girl, she is very idealistic when it comes down to the possibilities of the paranormal, gods, and demons, or maybe another world or dimension. She is in a relationship with Egon Spengler

Joshua Stantz
Age-18
Innocent, yet full of spunk like his mother, Joshua is not supposed to be in this timeline. Born October 27th, 2009, he’s almost the spitting image of his father. He has come back from the future to help out and tell them about a few things that HAVE to be changed, such as the equipment and things like that. He’s bright, clever, nimble, and all around a nice, generous person much like the parents he loves. He has Left behind, in the future, one sister, Mindee Stantz.

Ghostbuster Allies

Janine Melnitz
Janine Melnitz was the receptionist that worked for the boys in grey at the Firehouse. Janine was not a professed feminist, but seemed to be a very "independent" woman, which was common, particularly among feminists in the eighties. Her hobbies included racquetball and reading.

Louis Tully
Louis Tully lived down the hall from Dana Barrett, in an apartment building on Central Park West. Louis was a professional accountant whose interests included nutritional supplements and aerobic exercise. He also seemed to have a crush on his neighbor, Dana Barrett. In the second movie Louis and Janine had a fling.

Dana Barrett
Dana Barrett was the first customer and the Film only Character in Ghostbusters. Dana was a professional musician living in New York. She played cello in "a major symphony orchestra," presumably the New York Philharmonic.

Oscar Barrett
**His last name was never revealed in any source about Ghostbusters, but fan sites have been known to give him the last name Wallance (After Andre Wallance which is the birth father) and later as Venkman (After Peter Venkman which marries Dana after the movie). However, none of this has been proven in officially Ghostbusters Canon.

Ghosts and Demons

Slimer
Slimer was a ghost made up of pure ectoplasm and the first ghost successfully captured by the Ghostbusters. Slimer is well known for his gigantic appetite and the slime he leaves behind when he passes through solid objects. He lives with the Ghostbusters, and is fairly obedient, and very faithful to his new-found family. He is a Class 4 Free-Roaming Vapor.

Kylindra Warwick
Kylindra is a little...off. After five years of self-imposed isolation, she behaves strangely around other people. She is often very brooding, but prone to fits of inappropriate levity. She has seen things that would drive most people insane, so she's actually fairly well adjusted, all things considered. She is very level headed, and despite her insecurities, might actually be the voice of reason were she ever to have anyone around to listen. Another of Egon's students, Kylindra shares her body with a demon, a dangerous, Class 7 demon, thus putting her in the classification of Demon.

Gods and Demi-Gods

Loki, God Of Mischief
Currently the main enemy of the Ghostbusters. In Norse mythology, Loki is a god or jötunn (giant), or both. Loki's relation with the gods varies by source. Loki assists the gods, and sometimes causes problems for them. Loki is a shape shifter and in separate incidents he appears in the form of a salmon and a mare.He is a troublemaker, and is very keen on causing havoc in New York.

Morpheus, God of Dreams
One of Loki's allies, Morpheus has the ability to take any human's form and appear in dreams. Morpheus sends images of humans in dreams or visions, and is responsible for shaping dreams, or giving shape to the beings that inhabit dreams. He can possess bodies, and is a dangerous ally.

Walter Peck
Walter J. Peck was an inspector for the Environmental Protection Agency for the third district, in the greater New York area. Mr. Peck, though initially professional in his demeanor can quickly reduced to visible agitation when he is not co-operated with. He was particularly offended by Peter Venkman's unwillingness to allow him to inspect the Ghostbuster's facilities. As a result, he has shown that he is perfectly willing to lay spurious charges against those under his suspicion when he obtained a court order against the Ghostbusters under claims that they were in criminal violation of the Environmental Protection Act.


Retired Characters

Cassandra McKinley
The first of the new recruits, Cassandra is one of Egon's students. Perhaps it’s too much time spent around test tubes and not enough around people, but Cassandra is not the most mature of people. That’s not to say she’s childish and hyperactive; she’s quite sensible, but sometimes, she just doesn’t quite ‘get’ people. To the people she gets to know, though, she is loyal and considerate. She's picky, fussy and can tend towards nervousness and jumpiness, especially when she's had too much coffee, which is pretty often. When it comes to the world of the supernatural, Cassandra is uncertain.

Noriko Kitano
The third new recruit to the team, and currently, the youngest. Noriko is every bit the spunky and quick tongued individual her appearance would have you believe. However, there is a serious disconnect between her vision and how things actually play out. Under normal circumstances, Nori is relatively soft spoken and reserved. Her quite demeanor often gets her overlooked and tends to cause a number of problems, fostering a need to work harder to prove herself among others because of her size and age. This has fueled a lingering fear of failure that sometimes cripples her confidence when faced with seemingly insurmountably challenges.

T.J. Foreman
The fourth member of the team, and the first male new recruit, T.J. is an outgoing person who is very much at times not afraid to express himself. He normally is a solitary person, most likely to sit and write or, if he's in a bad mood hide totally from everyone he cares for. He is very kind hearted and will willingly give a person the shirt off his back if they were in need of it. He is known for giving his money to people, and for being ripped off when someone said they will pay it back. He loves to talk to his friends and to tell stories about his adventures.
