Deek shook hands with Ray from the driver's side seat of his Lincoln. "No problem, mister Stantz." He looked up at the brim of his hat sorrowfully, frowning a little bit. "Just glad everyone made it out safe..." Then the junior 'Buster shook his head and yanked his thoughts from reminiscing about the "awesome hat" to the present tense. He'd helped, albiet in a small role, to bring down one of the Ghostbusters' longest-running and biggest enemies. The hat was a small price to pay; and besides- it was replaceable, Jazz wasn't.

"Look," he concluded, "I'm going to head over to Maxwell's on 7th and D, grab a new hat. Meet you guys back at the firehouse."
