General Rules
- Respect the administrators and moderators.
- No chat-speak. I'm sure you know what I mean.
- Please no flaming, anywhere.
- Only advertise in the Advertisement board.
- Don't waste space in a board or the C-Box. (Pointless posts, etc...)
- Be fair and kind. (No new-player tormenting, open insults, ranting, annoying)
- Keep personal fights/arguments within PMs. Please do not carry out your personal smiting in the middle of a RPing topic.
- Keep cussing to a minimum.

Character Rules
- This is realistic that means, in winter, sacrifice a character or two and kill them. No cats of an unnatural color.
- No more than 10 characters. You may ask for more if you can prove that you are keeping all characters active.
- You may only play one leader or deputy at a time. You can play a deputy/leader and a medicine cat for a different Clan.
- You may only play one Medicine Cat
- All Clans may only have 20 characters at a time.
- All kit characters MUST have two parents, a mommy cat and a daddy cat. This is 'cause I don't want random kits popping out of thin air. *awkward*

Roleplay Rules
- RP posts must be at least 5 sentences.
- No minuscule to get around the three sentence post limit. Ex. 'I am happy. She thought. Yes. Thanks. She meowed. Slowly.'
- No God-modding or Power-playing. Super-characters; controlling/killing other players characters without permission.
- No written out birth or mating. Minor gore is fine but don't over do it.
- Try to reread your posts, and remember to use spell check either with Google toolbar/MS Word/Firefox. It doesn't take long and makes everything easier for everyone.
- Grammar/Spelling counts, if we can't read your post, why post it?

Fighting Rules
- The Try Rule; when fighting, you must 'attempt' a hit.
Good = Cat 1 leapt for cat 2's throat, jaws parted in a demonic snarl. If the blow hit, Cat 1 would latch onto Cat 2's throat, refusing to let go until he/she felt blood.
Bad = Cat 1 bit Cat 2's throat.
- 3 Dodges. Everyone in the battle can either take a hit, or dodge it, but everyone can only dodge three times, maximum.
Tell me why, theses rules are common fighting rules on a game called Furcadia. They help prevent *auto-hitting and **god-modding.
* Hitting other characters without letting the other player try to dodge. This Auto-hitting means stuff like "Cat 1 bit Cat 2's neck, killing him/her."
** Being insanely powerful/special powers/etc...

Clan Leader Rules
- Leaders must be active.
- Leaders are responsible for their Clan lists and Clan boards.
- Leaders are not mods, especially god-mods.
- Leaders must accept a bio for their Clan, or at least aware of it.

Mod Rules
- (MOD only) Do not favor one player.
- (MOD only) Only ban/warn for breaking the rules.
- (MOD only) Do not be immature/arrogant.
- (MOD only) Following the above rule, the Admins have ultimate power over their site and can manipulate a single mod, no over-confidence.
- (MOD only) Please do not ask to be a Global Mod or Admin. Asking to be a higher rank makes the admins feel you are immature.
