Lord of the Mosquitos, Yay for school-inspired plots!

This is mostly based on Hobbesian philosophy and Lord of the Flies, by William Golding (awesome book! Yay for brutal little English school boys!), so feel free to tell me it sucks if it sounds over-used or too strange. Or impractical. Or whatever.

Anyway. The plot goes soemthing like this. For one reason or another, the leader of a clan dies without a deputy. I'm thinking a disease kills an older leader, claiming the deputy and medicine cat as well. The members of the clan become divided amongst the possible candidates for future leader, dividing into uncooperative sects lead by the would-be leaders. These leaders have a variety of personalities, from barbaric and violent to logical and physically weak. Any combination you could want, so long as it's not perfect. Eventually, they resort to isolated acts of violence, maybe even kill one or two cats. Finally, either the other clans realize something strange is going on when they never show up to a Gathering, or an apprentice or some such cat runs off for help from the other clans.

Dunno if this would interest you. The point of it is to show how imperfect all the cats are-- how susceptible to propaganda and physical appearances, how essentially savage. It would take a lot of cats, and probably can't be done, certainly not easilly, but I just wanted to put it out there.

I personally love the plot becuase it unique and intresting, but I don't think any of the leaders are ready to die yet xD.

Yea, I figured it would come to that. And I doubt any deputy would give up their one chance at leadership, either. But who know-- miracles happen, or so I'm told.

I read Lord of the Flies last year, and it was pretty good. Anyways, I'm liking this interpretation of it into the warriors world. I just, I don't think it could work on this site. Their aren't as many current roleplayers as there used to be, and like Icey said, the leaders probably won't be willing.

Sounds like a great plot. =] It would certainly make things interesting. I like the panic it sets on said clan, of course it's just a matter of sacrificing kitties. =]
Good plot though !

By the way, what about our other plots? Like the Shadowclan/Thunderclan one?

Yeah well we can start that one back up again now! I'm backeth! Anyways, yeah, I really like the plot... ack, but I don't know if I could bring myself to kill Rebelstar... I luffs him so much, and he's kind of required for the ThunderClan/ShadowClan one. Yes, I'm being selfish, but... Haha, I like the plot though!

I would do it, but there's no way I could give up Darkstar. I love him too much for my own good. I don't care if he's an RP character. Ahah.
