Ah, don't worry
I'm sure you will have the whole 'girl thing' worked out eventually. I think going to university or college is usually the best time for boyfriends or girlfriends. There are no jerks from highschool at uni and not as much of the whole 'jocks and poulars' there either, so less bullying and per pressure. So that makes people more friendly, besides, for most of the uni student it's the ifrst time living away from home too, so you're 'all in the same boat' as they say That way, it's easy to make friends, both boys and girls -------------------- |

(been there, done that)and Poke, don't worry about the girls, there are more women than men in the world so i'm sure there is a girl for you out there |

Yep Uni is fun with the clubs, but even if you don't drink and party, you can still meet boyfriends and girlfriends by joining social clubs. (I'm joining the fencing club this year)

anyway, you should listen to what we've talked about earlier on this topic. (I can't find the posts at the moment though, but they are somewhere in the general thread,) too much focus is often making the opposite effect. -------------------- |

yeah...i just found out that ignoring a girl makes her come for you...and i mean ignoring as really ignoring...i had my mind set on money...a very good deal
...and she was playing with her young cuzin(6 years old) in the parking lot...usually i used to look only at her...but money's more important...so if i didn't loked at her she camed to where i was standing and started chating...just goes to show that if you don't pay atention to girls the girls will come to you --------------------  |

I can understand that it's not easy to socialize normally when you have a handicap, but sometimes you don't need the physical handicap to understand the psychological handicap, which I - among so many others, have had.
Really, what you need to focus on is YOUR interests - not other's. If you don't like going to parties - than don't. As long as you meet new people - whether they're boys or girls - it will going to be OK. Because all people are not judgmental a**holes (like me) - some people will actually sooner or later find interest in you, believe it or not - it's just about taking the hints. As long as you're being yourself and being the best you as possible things will turn out for the better, I promise. Though noone can guarantee success for the medical problems  but let's keep our fingers crossed. -------------------- |
