I just finished with the ragorlang series and it seems that taranee is getting closer to Luke. Then, what happens to Nigel? He's been gone for a really long time ever since he quarrelled with taranee :/ Just wondering where he could have been

oh, yeah, noticed that. weird, it's like suddenly the creators of the comics decided that nigel aint useful anymore so they decided to make him vanish forever

sigh tara and nigel are not together anymore! they broke up!
thats a big reason for not featuring him in the comics. why would they?
the focus of the comic is the witch girls - not all normal people of heatherfield.

It was not very clear to me either that they broke up, but Nigel made Tara choose between him and dancing, and she chose dancing, that was their official break up.

Yes it was, they argued, Tara started crying and then he left, and in the end she talked with her brother about that. What so confusing with that picture?

What happened was that Nigel (as I interpret it and remember, not having read the issue for some time) put forth an ultimatum:
It's either him, OR the dancing.

He probably felt that Tara used too much time on her friends and hobbies and not enough time on him, resulting in him feeling neglected or jealous of her friends at the dancing academy. Hence the attempt to maybe control Tara by putting forth the ultimatum.

Tara then probably felt pulled between two things she loved, and chose dancing. My guess is that she didn't like the idea of someone trying to boss over her like that and try to make her give up her dancing, which has been a passion of hers since she was a little girl.


Now, I haven't had any exes, but I think that if I had been with some boy, and we had a huge falling out/argument like that and ended up going our separate ways angry at each other, I'm not too sure that I'd like to have him as a part of my life.

If we had both agreed that the best thing to do was to separate because of whatever reason, then that's a different story. THEN I'd consider having him in my life as a friend.

i see. i thought they hadn't broke up yet. i thought that quarrel was a temporary thing. but i guess their breakup is a good thing, tara seems happier now (:
