I have to say Matt, even though Liam got the upper hand in the new issue. I guess it's beause I know more about him. Although, it is interesting that Liam wants to save Mariko.

I'm going with Matt as well. Despite the way he's been acting recently, I sympathize much more with him than with some guy who's just shown up and stands around going >:[ all the time.

I'm actually holding off voting in this at the moment. Maybe after 091 is done I'll vote. There are too many unknowns in my head regarding both guys right now that I'm not liking.

But as a tentative vote, I'd say Matt if Matt were to use all of his tricks available to him. Do remember that he teleported more than once during the New Power arc. Think Nightcrawler from the second X-Men movie.

I prefer Matt and Will together but after seeing how he acter in the new power saga im having second thoughts. As MC said it would be fun seeing him losing to Liam. Liam is new and I still don't know. I would want to know more about him. Waiting on #91 until now wink.gif

Just had another thought, something spurred by reading in another book...

What if Matt lost the sparring match on purpose? Not all victories are measured in ground gained or enemies defeated.
