Title: The Golden Spring
Description: third series adventure novel

irmalover - June 26, 2009 09:17 AM (GMT)
Short ago I found at eBay this book from the third series. It's a German version. The story is about Irma struggling with her house duties and bad notes, while another world needs help from Witch. A magician keeps a princess hostage...

I have that book, still haven't read it. It is just one of the many books with scandinavian authors.

MoonCloud217 - June 27, 2009 04:54 PM (GMT)
hmm.. you can see most of these images on witch-news. it's a Danish site.
these books are not in english, so scanning anything else but the image inserts would be pointless.

dragon78 - June 28, 2009 12:51 AM (GMT)
I love the cover but what is the title?(Die=The,Goldene=golden?,Quelle=?)

mark161990 - June 28, 2009 02:25 AM (GMT)
The title is the golden spring. It's the title of the thread, right? ;)

IrenaEarth - June 30, 2009 11:24 AM (GMT)
C`mon people be happy with the comics, its big deal to translate book. It`s ok if it`s on english, then it`s only have to scan it, but translating the whole story ...

Sankara - June 30, 2009 10:16 PM (GMT)
got a point there, i'd hate to translate 300 pages of foriegn words, yup...tiring...

dragon78 - June 30, 2009 11:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah that would be a lot of work. :will: :irma: :taranee: :cornelia: :haylin:

mark161990 - July 1, 2009 08:32 AM (GMT)
oh! I forgot it's a book! my bad..I should try to be more careful next time.. ;)

Tekira - July 2, 2009 02:24 PM (GMT)
Well, I can understand German pretty well, so nobody has to translate it for me :)

(just kidding, I know this is an English website and it has no use to put a German book in here if almost nobody can understand it)

tandi94 - July 4, 2009 03:50 AM (GMT)
since its a book, that would be hard to transate.

SpellBinder - July 4, 2009 07:03 AM (GMT)
Less so than if it were an audio book, I think. At least in a written format you can tell where the word separation is. Well, most of the time, depending on the written language (Japanese being a bit more difficult than German or Italian).

Starlight - August 16, 2010 09:33 AM (GMT)
COULD U PLS EDIT TRANSALATE AND SCAN THIS BOOK! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEESE! IM IN LOVE WITH WITCH BOOKS AND I NEED MORE! OR EDIT TRANSALATE AND SCAN ANY OTHER BOOK! IM DYING HERE! (SERIOUSLY!)[FONT=Arial][COLOR=purple] :console: :will: :irma: :taranee: :cornelia: :haylin: :wall:

MAX9075 - August 16, 2010 05:44 PM (GMT)
wow, easy there..

To my knowledge there hasn't been any WITCH book translated bij fans, and honestly I think there never will be. It takes way too much time and effort.

pkfireyoshi - August 16, 2010 09:59 PM (GMT)
My sister is starting to learn German and might be able to someday write up a basic translation that we can all read but I doubt she will I'm just giving a bit of hope to you guys

Tekira - August 17, 2010 10:57 AM (GMT)
Basic German is not enough to translate a whole book. For me basic French wasn't even enough to translate a comic.

galistar07water - August 17, 2010 04:18 PM (GMT)
I can understand that. I'm fluent in Vietnamese, but even that's difficult for me if I try to translate WITCH comic into that language, due to the difficulties of cultural language differences and I have to somehow make it sound fluently.
For example, the Harry Potter books were great in its original English language, but when I read the Vietnamese ones, it was pretty much crap to me.

MoonCloud217 - August 18, 2010 11:00 AM (GMT)
yeah, translating is always more difficult than people think, that's what I always say to those who offer their help, but then again I also started one day and we all learn by practice. too bad official releases don't always have the high standards you'd expect (like the swedish WITCH editors work for example) so maybe it's more of an ambition thing ...

Omg, is that the lost book of the ADVENTURES series? I mean, there's Will, Taranee, Cornelia & Hay-Lin's adventures, but where is Irma's story? [in english, right? :)]
BTW to that, if i'm an ignorant, is there an Irma book anywhere on sale? it's missing in my collection. :(

Tekira - December 4, 2010 10:06 PM (GMT)
I think you mean the books of Lene Kaaberbøl, am I right? There is a topic about those too!

It's missing in mine too. I had a link to a seller earlier this year, and I would give it to you only I lost it. She had it, but she lived in, I think the Eastern Hemisphere and the shipping would have cost three times the price of the book. If you'd like me to, maybe I could look around for the link and give it to you?

When I bought the cristal birds online in dutch, I saw a dutch version of the Irma adventure book on this site for the Netherlands. I wanted to buy it, but the day I planned to do it, someone else already had.

LittleRaven - July 1, 2011 05:28 PM (GMT)
Okay, either I completely forgot or I didn't know where to look for the bookseller. Posting to remind myself to do it soon.

RedRoses - July 10, 2011 06:44 PM (GMT)
Next time I'm abroad, I'll search for w.i.t.c.h things like my life depends on it.

Tekira - July 10, 2011 10:15 PM (GMT)

RedRoses - July 11, 2011 01:03 PM (GMT)

RedRoses - July 14, 2012 04:46 PM (GMT)
BTW, about the Irma adventure book. I have it in Dutch. I bought all five last year, they're from Lene Kaaberbol. And I was allready busy translating the Irma one, but school got me busy, so I might continue with that, now I'm having summer holidays.

LittleRaven - July 14, 2012 06:31 PM (GMT)
That would be wonderful, thank you!

Orube. - August 20, 2012 09:37 PM (GMT)

MoonCloud217 - September 15, 2012 12:15 PM (GMT)
I just noticed something horrible :( I can't find this book at home anymore ...
I'm 99% sure that I bought it once, it's just that it's gone from my collection :(

edit: I actually managed to find it online ... even if it's out of stock almost everywhere. so now I've made an order, very cheap, just about 5 euros ... now that, I can afford. :will: :irma: :taranee: :cornelia: :haylin:
