Forum Rules
- Each member can view their warning level and reasons for their respective level in their individual profiles or in their postbits. - If caught violating a rule, members will have their level increased 20%. - When a member reaches 100% (5 warnings), their account is suspended for 7 days. - Upon reaching the end of those 7 days, their levels will be reset, and hopefully will have learned their lesson. - Please do not argue with moderators/admins about a warn increase, moderators are objectively scanning the forums for violations, and when caught will address the situation. - Ofcourse, the warning system is not an excuse to postpone a members banning from the forums for unacceptable behavior. Admins will make such decisions. Wallpaper criteria - - all wallpapers must be posted as links. - any use of explicit language will result in deletion of your wallpaper. Signature criteria - - maximum resolution of 550 x 125 - maximum file size of 90 Kb - maximum 3 total lines of text - no explicit language / images - preferrably no animations - no advertisements* Avatar criteria - - maximum resolution of 80 x 80 - maximum file size of 30 Kb - no explicit language / images - preferrably in .gif extension - no advertisements* "Bumping" - - first offense = topic will be locked - second offense = topic will be deleted - third offense = 1 day ban Explicit language - - any excessive use of explicit language will result in a ban of 3 days - determination of any excessive use will be judged by moderators and / or adminstrators *Advertising - No advertising unless you are an affiliate. Other walls crews may only have links and logos in their wallpapers. You may not post another designers wall from your crew, regardless of their status on the board. Post YOUR work. Any work you post on behalf of anybody else for any reason WCX moderators find illegal, the thread will be deleted. Also, any form of crew advertising is not permitted. No exceptions and moderators have final say on what is acceptable. - First Offense = Removed automatically by mod or admin - Second Offense = 1 day ban and removal of advertisement. - Third Offense = 1 week to 1 month ban and removal of advertisement. - Fourth Offense = Permanent ban Bashing & Language - No bashing of others for illagitimate reasons. Any specific posts (in good threads) including useless bashes/retaliations will just be deleted to let the rest of the posters who respect the rules in that thread, continue. - First Offense = post deleted. - Second Offense = Deleted + Admin PM with warning of suspension. - Third Offense = 2-3 day suspension - Fourth Offense = Permanent ban All of the main, 4 letter words are blanked by invision filters but if you are caught working around them to swear, or the filters have to filter your stuff constantly, action will be taken. Innapropriate images include anything containing explicit frontal nudity, sexual themes(example: kobe bryant case), sexual/racial/religious racism or verbal violence against a team, player or board member. Basically, it comes down to knowing that your all old enough to know whats right and wrong, this shouldnt be that hard to follow. Warez is a term used by software pirates to describe a cracked game or application that is made available to others on the internet. West Coast Remix adminstrators are well aware that warez use exists in this community. Many people tend to get their graphical programs illegaly, and unfortunately, there is nothing West Coast Remix can do about it. Adminstrators have decided that THE POSTING OF WAREZ LINKS OR THE MENTIONING OF WHERE ILLEGAL SOFTWARE CAN BE OBTAINED WILL BE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The purpose of doing so is not to limit artistic expression, but to prevent legal problems. Topics that contain discussion of warez will be deleted immediately. Thank You.
