New Transfer

Leon walked into the S.T.A.R.S HQ, a place he had been too many times before when getting his assignments from the head person in charge. Captain Lockhart was back and he was transferred on a special assignement. Leon and Lockhart had rarely got along. She assumed he was another hotshot kid who needed something to prove. Though Lockhart and Leon never got along, she knew he was the best at what he did: Get the job done.

As he walked into the main room with different cubicles for lower class agents, Leon was noticed by a few people. "Hey Leon! Your back now?" someone asked him as he made his way passed his desk. Leon nodded before stopping in front of him."Unfortunately yes...I'm here on special assignment from SIT....I mean S.T.A.R.S. New York City Division." Leon said.

Truth be told, Leon actually worked for S.I.T.F.A (Special International Task Force Agency.) A group that worked closely with CIA and DEA. His job was to stop an illegal activities and potientially harmful and life threatening attacks to all areas by any means necessary. He had been transferred back out to the one place where he least wanted to be: anywhere near Racoon City. Though he was in a different place from there, the air still reeked of the same place. Also to the fact was the fact that Nightinggale City was close to Racoon City and was rebuilt by the same corporation that dealt the disgusting and gruesome effects on the inhabitants of that city.

He paid his respects to those he knew and then walked into Lockhart's office before closing the door. Standing at parade rest and locking his arms behind his back, he gritted his teeth and swallowed the pride of a higher class agent working under someone he could do what wished with in his own department before reporting in. " Special Agent Leon Kennedy. Security Number 101. Reporting in to S.T.A.R.S. HQ by way of S.I.T.F.A. to Captain Lockhart."

Kira was sitting at her desk eating lunch, Chinese take out, and filling out a report on Carl Jones drunk driving charges. Leaning back in the chair she started to read over what she had written so far and finished eating her rice and tossed the box in the garbage without looking. She grabbed her drink and continued to read over the report.

Kira looked up and raised a brow slightly at Leon's posture. Standing at attention was rarely seen around here. "At ease." She said, putting her bottle of coke down on the desk and uncrossed her legs. She picked up a folder on her desk and opened it. Inside was all the transfer information. "Hey Leon, any problems getting here?"

Leon nodded, surprised that Kira hadn't said anything mentally damaging to him yet."No problems at all....been any tougher out here since I left?" Leon said. He added a smirk to that. Since he left this division a while back, S.T.A.R.S had taken a hit dealing with the Racoon City incident and standard dealings with criminals. He knew that would get Kira started. Might as well get it over with as fast as possible.

"Look, no need to spare and subtelties here. I'm here on Assignement from "you know who" so there's no need for me to be formal about it. My assignment is to be here and be used at your disposal, but I'm not one of yours. You can treat me like one, but when it comes down to it, I have my own set of rules I follow. Just make sure you allow me to use them and we will get along fine. For the sake of this assignement, I am a quote-unquote "S.T.A.R.S. Agent" again. However, I'm still Special Agent Kennedy of S.I.T.F.A." Leon said.

He sat down at the chair in Kira's office, kicking his feet up on the desk......an act of pure defiance. In actuality, Leon would have dated Kira if she wasn't such a stuck up bitch. He found her attractive even with the difference in their personailities. Leon really considered their relationship "borderline professional" because they treated each other like crap when they got the chance but still maintained respect around certain people.

OOC: Parade rest is pretty much at ease, not attention. LOL. Sorry for the little filler parts, I'm trying to establish that Leon and Kira don't really get along but do like each other to some extent as a professional working relationship.

(Kira is not a stuck up bitch. She is a kind and respective person. Please do not start saying stuff that may not be true about my character)

"Things have been fine here. They've been fine before you came here, and they've been fine since you left." Kira said calmly as she glanced through the file. She flipped it around and pointed to a line. "Have to sign this."

Kira crossed her arms as Leon when into a little rant. She was worried this would happen, sort of expected it. And there was no way in hell she was going to put up with talk like that. "Correction Mr. Kennedy, while you are under my command you are one of mine and you will follow my rules and my orders." She said as she stood and walked around to the front of the desk. "You better start showing some respect, or I'll send your ass back to where ever you came from. I don't have any room for assholes on my team." Kira finished and shoved his feet off.

(Sorry if that was bitchy, pretty much how I would respond)

(Your misunderstanding what I'm trying to say. Let me explain. What Leon thinks of Kira is his own intereptation of her combined with the fact he works on a higher level of secruity than she does. He considers her a stuck up bitch because of the fact she's a female in charge of a task force he used to be a part of. That is his own personaility about her, tying that together with his confidence about himself. So he sees himself above everyone else and everyone as being flawed in some way. It helps Leon deal with his own faults. I will soon post, but I'm at work and just thought I would post this to let you know. I meant no disrespect, but this is just the type of personaility my character has. It will change soon about her.)

Leon took the papers and sign them, before he threw them back on her desk. He smiled at Kira. It was fun being back in the old "alma mater" so to speak. He looked at her side to side. He figured there was no denying this harshful area so he figured if he was gonna work here, might as make it easier than last time. Leon looked over his work before speaking."Listen Kira, let's be easy about this. What do you say to dinner sometime? That way we can put all tensions aside from us?"

Kira picked up the papers, glanced over them again just to make sure everything had been signed, and tucked them back into the folder. She moved away from the desk to her filing cabinet and slid the file along side the rest of her team's files. She turned and leaned against the cabinet when he spoke. A dinner invitation, that was certainly new. "As in a date?" She replayed with a small smile.

Leon shook his head."Sure, why not? We have had some bad blood in the past, why not put it aside? Besides, I've always been attracted to you, I just couldn't stand your attitude." Leon said to her. He stood up and then moved to the window to look out into the view. The city had a nice skyline to it and indeed was a peaceful city. Leon was eager to find out what his first routine was gonna be. Hopefully not beat cop, he hated beat cop.[color=blue}"Please give me an assignment.....and not beat cop please."[/color] Leon said. He rarely ever said please....only under extreme circumstances.

Kira stepped away from the cabinet, watching Leon as he made his way over to the window. She didn't huge grudge against the guy, just got a little annoyed once in a while from the way he spoke sometimes. "Alright, dinner. But I'm not calling it a date." She replayed with a small laugh. She walked back to her desk and closed the file she had been working on. "No, your not gonna get any beat cop kind of work." She replayed and looked over at him. "We usually get the interesting assignments. Murder, big time theft, or someone being a big threat. We don't always have assignment through."

Leon was just eager to really get back on the job and start working again. It didn't matter what kinda assignment he got, as long as he had his guns, boots, body armor, and badge, he was interested in whatever. He looked over at Captain Lockhart, a woman he had a great amount of respect for and just shrugged his shoulders."That's ok, Captain Lockhart. I need to just get back out there. So what exactly has been happening around here that I had to be transferred back to S.T.A.R.S>" Leon asked.

(From here on in, Leon is no longer Leon, he is the canon Steve. Everything that has been said and acted as Leon will now be replaced by Steve. Both the member and I have agreed on this. Sorry for any confusion.)

"As you might have heard, there was a shooting last week. A man had tried to assassinate the mayor. The shooter was killed and one S.T.A.R.S was wounded." She explained, sorting through her papers until she found the report written by her second in command. "He had said something about the sins in Raccoon will not be repeated. Last week the head of the Umbrella company here came forward and expressed a concern for their safety. They told us they received a few notes, saying it was their fault that they died."

"After that the Chief deiced he wanted to make a investigation and find these people. He also wanted extra help and your company was contacted." Kira looked over at Steve and sat on the edge of her desk. "We will be reviewing this case for as long as deemed fit. But this isn't a priority. If we get another case, we'll have to put this one aside for a while."

Steve strode over to the desk and kicked his feet up on the oakwood table like he had before. What's wrong with you Steve? Why did you do that? It....just seemed so natural. Feels like I've done it all before. Steve then cocked his head back and then waved an arm into the air."I got it....you want me to investigate into Umbrella Corporation now? Find out what I can and report back to you?" Steve said. At the mention of Umbrella Steve suddenly had a flashback.

-FLASH-

Steve finds himself outside in a formation of about 400 men. Going over mission plans....."We strike hard and fast gentlemen.....-inadubile speech-.....I don't have to tell you that some of you, may not make it back."

-FLASH-

Steve finds himself inside of a place with bunches of white coat scientists and specimens. He is injected with some kinda liquid that makes his muscle tighter and stronger. The scientist checks his watch with the other scientist next to him. "It's just as we thought......he IS a perfect specimen. He is the one they have been secretly training for a long as ever. They did say that he was excellent warrior...."

-FLASH-

Steve snaps back into reality, hearing Captain Lockhart speak to him but not actually hearing her words. "I'm sorry....what did you say? I didn't think it was important so I wasn't paying attention." Steve said to her as a little voice in the back of his head whispered.....Steve, when did you get so rude?

Kira shook her head lightly. "No, Umbrella isn't under investigation. Their sort of the victims in this, sort of." She added, biting her lip a little. The Umbrella Corp was such a large company it was hard to think of them as victims. Shrugging slightly, Kira slipped into her seat and glanced down at the file. "We are to investigate the shooter, find out why he did what he did. Were also to trace the notes sent to Umbrella and find the senders. Were hoping were not dealing with a group of terrorists."

She frowned when Steve spoke. She was a nice person, but when at work she wasn't one to smile and be nice to people who were rude. "Everything about this case, and any other case, is important Mr. Burnside. You best pay attention, or I'll give you beat cop jobs, ones you don't like." Kira said calmly, then repeated what she said.
