This Rabbit/Member Rank's Handbook Includes:
A. The Rabbit/Member Ranks
B. Challenging & Overthrowing Clan Chief RabbitsA. THE RABBIT/MEMBER RANKSOh my have you realized it yet?
Clans, culture, strife and struggle, there must be a hierarchy but where?!
This is a special ranking system unique to Uncertain Fate. Here, if you want a higher rank for your character you literally have to earn it. Yes, your Member rank and your Rabbit, or rabbit like creatures rank go hand in hand.
>> Basically the longer you've been around and the more posts you have the higher ranked and more respected your characters are, unless stated otherwise, aka a newborn, loner, evil or newbie character. <<
(Please scroll further down on the details of Challenging and Overthrowing Clan Chiefs)
Higher ranked members have some perks and deserve respect, they also can help (and should!) White paws to understand how the site works and such.
Note: Just because your a day older, or have 1oo more posts does not mean you can boss around someone of equal rank...or any rank for that matter. Don't boss around others it's mean you'll end up being called "black-tailed".
The Member/Rabbit Ranks:
(Listed highest to lowest)(unless stated otherwise any of the ranks below can occupy a clan or not.)
Chief Rabbit - This member rank is the highest you can get. Administrators of this site automatically hold this rank. The Rah's (Chief Rabbits) are basically the most powerful rabbits in the clan- they are the leader(s). All the rabbits in the clan can be given orders by the Rah/Chief Rabbit. A rabbit that is a Chief Rabbit has the suffix -rah (ex. Bunny-rah) added to their names as a sign of respect. MUST be a member of a clan.
Elder Rabbit - One of the highest ranks, and a great honor to achieve. An Elder Rabbit has survived in the forest for a very long time, is very wise and has a lot of say, enough to put a Chief in his/her place. An Elder Rabbit can hold the position of a Chief Rabbit in a clan ONLY if the position is available, Elder Rabbits can NOT challenge and overthrow existing Chief Rabbits of a clan. A rabbit that is an Elder Rabbit has the suffix -kou (ex. Bunny-kou) added to their names as a sign of respect.
Owsla - Rank up from being a regular Swiftpaw, Owsla's have survived much and are seasoned in the world of Uncertain Fate, they deserve respect and admiration but do not have an honorific suffix.
Swiftpaw - A rabbit that is experienced and skilled to a point, still having much to learn and accomplish. (equal to Member).
White Paw - Human equivalent is a newbie. A rabbit that's still learning, fresh member to a clan, or a young rabbit. The suffix -roo (ex. Bunny-roo) is sometimes used by more experienced rabbits as an endearment. (When you reach this rank you may now create a baby character, or a loner character.)
Outskirter - Someone who has just arrived and has barely made a place for themselves. They have yet to prove their skill. They do NOT belong to any clan.
Black-Tail - A black-tail, or being "black-tailed" is sadly, a name for one who has done a wrong and/or abused someones trust. They can still right the wrong though. (equal to Demoted)
------------------------------------
* Loner - This is NOT a rank, this is a rabbit of any rank or status (besides chief of Outskirter) that just does not belong to any clan. It can be considered a level up from Outskirter, who is not a part of any clan either but is not knowlegeable of the area where as Loners have been around in the forest for a while.
REMEMBER: You are only allowed to create as high a ranking character as your member status you may always create a lower ranking character.
(If you do make a lower ranked character then your member rank TELL US IN YOUR CHARACTERS PROFILE!)
Note 1: Characters can only be Chief Rabbits if the position is open in a clan or by challenging the current Rah of a clan. All other ranks and titles can be used within or outside the clans.
Note 2: A young character may NOT be roleplayed as if it were equal in power and rank to the more experienced one.
(There are other terms rabbits and rabbit like creatures use to describe themselves and others, you can find those here --->[
Terms and Lingo ] along with other terms.)
