Tenshu sniffed the ground, digging his nose into the snow and leafs underneath. There was no particular reason for it, it wasn't like he'd find much but dirt...
-achoo- he wiggled his nose, and shook his head and quickly balanced himself on his hind legs and brought his front paws to his face washing his nose. When he was finished he wiggled his nose a bit more and sniffed the air, yes much better. Now he looked around and hopped a little closer to the "meeting rock" and scratched an itch, the forest seemed so empty these days and the clans where bare bones because of it. He put his foot down and looked around wondering if there was anyone out there waiting.

A patch of clover had managed to show through some melting snow. Leaves were skillfully pushed out of the way to expose the frozen, dieing plant life. However, it was worth it for the ball of white and grey, laying on her back in the center. Meli was supposed to have been here looking for someone to join the warren, or that's what the elder told her to do. She thought it was enough, for now, just the two of them. But he didn't think so. Especially with him being so old and all..

So she relaxed here, for now.

Hm? She flipped over, quickly, alert. She heard -something-, and wandered her way closer to the meeting rock.

Tenshu pounded his foot against the rock and snorted, he hated all of the conflicting odors of this rock. Although it was a place unclaimed by the clans and it was shared by all of them...and it could be easily noticed that sometimes idiot young males just couldn't contain themselves. He was quickly drawn from his thoughts as he heard someone, or something. His ear flipped back, and then he turned his head to see, peering over the higher end of the rock.
So...he wasn't alone. He caught sight of a different clan member on the other side, and then preceded to hop over around the rock. Thinking to himself that it was ok he was caught off guard, and he would have known there was others around if it wasn't for all the different sent trails about. "Hello there mam," he sniffed, now that they were close enough, "Bare Teeth Clan huh?"

[Yeah, I was hoping you'd let me.. cuz it's kind of hard to have them to start out with when everyone has to work their way up? xD;; He won't last long anyway]



Meli stiffened and actually jumped quite a ways back. She knew another rabbit was there, but she was still not used to all these differences. Her heart settled, and she attempted playing it cool by brushing off the dirty bits of snow clinging to her grey fur.

"Uh.. yeah, Bare Teeth. What- er, who are you?"

She sniffed back at him, not recognizing the scent at all. She still had only recently come here.

Tenshu became tense when she jumped immediately wondering if something was wrong, but then calmed a bit when he realized it was because of himself.
He cracked a smile when he was her began to clean off her fur and nonchalantly ask who he was. He grinned, actually laughing a little, it wasn't malicious just a light happy one, "I am Tenshu, part of the Thumping Spirit clan!" he thumped his foot upon the ground three times for fun as he spoke. But then became a bit more serious and inched closer to her, "it's been rough lately hasn't it? I'm sure all the other clans don't have the numbers they used to have either."

If it was possible for her to blush, she would have. Instead, she sighed. "Well, yeah. It's just me and the old rab over there. And I've only recently arrived. I don't know how anything works. Like, there's feathers decorating the Warren! I've never seen anything like it!" A look of awe crossed her, quickly shaken away.

She stopped preening herself. "Oh, I'm Meli." She trodded up and sniffed at the rock itself. "So is this the meeting place the old guy was talking about? He kept going on about keeping the clan alive and getting our wings. I don't get it. And this smells funny." She shook her head again, kind of disgusted.

Tenshu nodded smiling and listening but then held back the urge to laugh. He really liked her new comer charm. "Yes, the Bare Teethers are quite into adorning their warren" he smiled, "I don't think all of them were from real underbrush charges though...could have sworn I saw one buck a while back just pick one off the ground..." He tilted his head, "Yea annoying isn't it? But that's meeting rock for you," he sniffed and wrinkled his nose, "quite the-uh history."
He returned his attention to her, smiling mysteriously now, "Well this will be interesting won't it?" he paused then continued, "I mean, once a loner comes along...." he tilted his head back and forth looking around but at the same time having an ominous air, "we both need fresh blood at our warrens don't we?"

Neon was laying on his side, basking in the sunlight with his eyes closed and his ears twitching. Every few minutes he'd hear the sound of footsteps, other rabbits. But by this time of day he'd learnt to ignore it. Rabbits had been leaving the warren all morning. Gathering and then heading off to some destination unknown to himself. He pushed himself up and opened his eyes to watch as the latest group began to move off and he tilted his head. This activity puzzled him and he mused to himself whether he should follow. "Hmmm...Yes..I think I will. If just for the sake of doing something " he laughed, thinking aloud to himself as he leant forwards and arched his back, yawning loudly before running off after the scent trail of the other rabbits, but when he neared the meeting rock his scences became confused and it made his nose itch. He stopped and sat down some distance from the rock and scratched his nose, but the itching would not go. "Hmmm.." he grumbled, frowning to himself and then smerking as he shoved his nose in the dirt. Now he couldn't smell anything. But at least his nose had stopped itching. Once he'd fixed the problem with his nose he got closer to the rock, but still stayed some distance away. He was only here to watch and listen, no need for him to get involved.

Meli shook her head at the scent, not enjoying it. "Your clan is low on members, too? What happened?"

She plopped her tail down on the rock and sat with her forepaws up. She sniffed the air, and shook herself again.

Tenshu sighed a little, "It's been a harsh winter....luckily we got past it...but not by much." He stretched out and yawned, "Well, this is going to probably be a long wait..." He hoped over on to the rock, even though it smelt, it was exposed to the sun today and quite warm. He laid down on his side, "The rock being marked as much as it is will hopefully draw some curious outskirters eventually...but it is a big forest after all...it could take days coming back here before we meet someone...unfortunately.".

Meli put her paws back down and once she recognized the warmth, layed her belly down on it.

"I suppose it'll be worth it, you know, waiting. Besides me and the old guy, the chief is so determined to have more swiftpaw around to go after elil. It's kind of pointless with just the three of us. But yeah.. the winter. It was bad where I was too, definatly, but I didn't find it too bad. Maybe it was cuzza my fluff. Hahah."

She accentuated her point by licking her paw and running it though her fur.

"haha" he chuckled, "I don't know exactly why Ragna spared some yet...made others join him in the sky so early...but I doubt it had to do with how fluffy some of us are." he smiled warmly, but then frowned slightly, "The clans have been mostly silent in the forest because of this, I know it's ill of me to say that but, I can only hope that the Red Rouge clan is as damaged as the rest of us- they could easily overpower any clan they choose too at this point if they remained a good size."

"Ragna does what Ragna wants", she huffed. "Why would he give me this if it didn't go to any use, then? I totally think it was on purpose." She grinned, becoming full of herself to hide the fact that she was still indeed nervous around this new rabbit. She rolled over on her back and look at him upside down. "Really, I don't know who the Red Rouges are, but I could definitely fight back. Red-rah is going to train me!" She smiled again, obviously with a high respect for her chief. After a moment of silence, she sighed, "Waiting is boring."

Tenshu didn't seem affected by her swelling pride and merely winked, "Your chief is quite the Rruh I'm sure he'll teach you well. But remember young one, don't underestimate those who you know nothing about..." Tenshu's gaze shifted a little as if a memory had resurfaced for a moment. But then he looked at Rose and just smiled as she spoke of her boredom.

A few moments later Tenshu's ears twitched and he quickly got up on his hind legs...unusually alert.

Suddenly a rusty brown rabbit emerged from the ferns. He looked quite bothered that he was not alone but did not hesitate and continued over to the rock. He sat down without a word next to the rock, but as far away as possible from them. His gaze moved to them and he looked them over once, snorted and then snapped his head back to the forest in front of them.

The heavy air was so sweet, but it made Lorelei mad. No one could understand how such sweet places and beautiful moments made her grumpy. It wasn't that though, only the fact that she had been very rudely interrupted deep in her gentle slumber. Lorelei was a quiet, peaceful rabbit while silent, but when angered she was a quick to judge, rash rabbit.

She opened her blue eyes, trying to figure out sense of her surroundings. She had just dropped into a deep sleep in the hollow of a log not long ago, and she squinted, searching for the faint flicker of light toward the exit that meant the fresh air. She was grateful that nothing had attacked her during the night. She was a worried, nervous rabbit.

A almost blind rabbit was easy to catch, but Lorelei had adapted with a powerful sense of vibration. She used the movement vibrations from others to feel her way around, sense jumpy people and avoid obstacles. It was what she felt most proud off, and had forced herself to learn it after she had been attacked.

She trailed off, still angry at how her previous owners had treated her as she lumbered out of the log onto the ground. Perfect. On the ground she knew where she was going, unlike the new surface of the log. She began to move her feet, keeping a wary eye and nose for predators. Pushing out the bushes that blocked her from a firm path, her eyes widened as she sensed vibrations in the ground.

A few minutes later, she pulled up next to the vibrations in a clearing, her head hitting a rock. Muttering in frustration, she lifted her head up and blinked. The meeting rock. But why would she be there?
