For those of you that saw the newspaper article, I am sorry they talked about me so much. I tried to keep the focus on the Endeavour. I told the reporter twice that the Candy event was Stacy's idea, but they did not print that information at all. However, the reporter did say she wanted to do another article just about the Endeavour. I think this article was actually more about the film crew.

As per the article... yes, it is all true. No, most of you did not know about my past.
This is not because I did not feel I could share, or because I am ashamed of my past. It is just because it usually does not come up and I am uncomfortable reliving it.

? I didn't see the article. I looked up Endeavour on the AHB site and found the one from BEFORE the event, but when I do that same thing now, there is no new article showing up. I didn't know when the publish date was for the second piece and have not been buying papers; I guess it isn't online yet.

Hey Mark,
That was a cool pic of you as well! Did you notice the one on the cover of the paper, above the header.

Man! I even put on the make up for being Data but didn't even get into any of the pictures. Oh, that's right , I was over by our new Captain Cyndi Jackson.
It was Roy's day to shine anyway or should I say R.H.I.P. Admiral Jackson. I think that I can speak for the rest of the crew in saying that it is a pleasure to be associated with you. Like Roy, I had some tough times growing up. My dad was in Vietnam and didn't send any money home for us to live on. My mom finally got a hold of the command staff and my dad was busted down one rank and forced to send money to us. He later told me that he had resigned to dying there and spent all of his money partying. I was number 2 out of 4 boys. My mom would send me over to our neighbors to borrow things like toilet paper that I knew that we would never be able to repay. It was embarrassing but you have to do what it takes to survive. My kids complain about how poor we are so I counter that they only have one direction they can go, onward and upward.
Ok Mark, you can now make fun of me, about going to the trouble of wearing the Data make and not making it into any of the pictures, with a country song. What's that one about the woman asking, "Did I shave my legs for this?"

The article was in Saturday's paper. I finally found the front page that showed a small picture in the upper left corner. I can't figure out how to get to the actual article or to get to the pictures that should be available to order. I am hoping there will be access to pictures that were not used in the paper.

I picked up a copy from the office as the Saturday one was on the table in the main area. I took a photo of the paper and although it's a bit on the rough side, here it is.

(Posted Image)

I'll try the scanner at work. Does the News Paper sell copies of photos?

I have forgotten for so long to put this up. This is a pdf file of the scan of the newspaper for those that did not see it.

http://www.trekfigures.com/Goods_event.pdf

You can right click and Save As then open it or click the link. If you just click the link and it does not open then right click your address tab and choose to open in External App

I use Firefox and I just installed an extension that opens it right up. :)

Thanks for posting this, Mark. After all this time, I had not ever seen more than the photo until now. :)
