VENTURER PHOTOGRAPHY DAY Thursday October 15

Own a digital camera? Want to take great pictures? Join us for an inspirational and fun day out with your camera, led by professional photographer John Frye
Autumn is approaching - vibrant colours, slanting sunlight and misty mornings on the water. It’s a great time to test and stretch your camera skills with expert help. Just what the Venturer Photography Day is offering.
If you are new to digital photography or simply want to learn how to shoot better pictures with your camera, then this day is for you. It’s a mix of tutorial, hands-on practice and review with professional advice on hand at all times while we cruise between Kingston and Richmond on board the Richmond Venturer.
Places on the course are limited to ten to ensure each participant gets focused help and attention. You will be taking photographs onshore and on the move and will have a chance to shoot landscapes, architecture, and nature as well as people at work, and even abstract images. At lunchtime there will be an opportunity to share ideas and tips with your fellow photographers. The day ends with a session on how to edit, upload and print your digital pictures.
The cost of the day is £95 and includes lunch and all refreshments.
About the tutor John Frye is a freelance photographer with a professional career spanning over 30 years. A keen promoter of digital technology John regularly gives talks to help and encourage amateur users to improve their skills. For further information, visit www.johnfrye.co.uk
