Sulking, [Lav]

[Lavender Brown]

Lav sighed and sluggishly continued, "I thought you would say that. Well then I guess I have to got to go to the hospital wing. Poppy won't be to happy about this." Lavender sucked on her lower lip and frowned. She stumbled a little and found a grip to hold on to. She regained her balance and continued walking, she smiled as she could see the Hospital Wing's doors.

When Lavender stumbled, Draco was about to reach out and help steady her, but he wasn't her friend, even though she had done a lot for him, (not like he was going to befriend a Gryffindor anytime soon anyway.) and he wasn't ready to show any version of being helpful. Like she had said, she had done this many times before. It was good practice for her to continue doing it, and perhaps it would help her gain strength for when she was under the affects of poison. Although he was going to let her walk on her own, he held the doors to the infirmary open for her.

"Hey, wait here... I'll get Pomfrey." he stated, pointing to a bed near the door. He then wandered farther into the hospital wing, and stopped at the door to Pomfrey's office. He knocked hard two or three times, and waited impatiently until she finally opened the door.

"Brown for you." he stated, and turned to walk back to the bed Lavender was on.

Lavender smiled and silently thanked Draco as he held the door open for her, she walked over to an empty bed and sat for a bit while Draco went to get the matron. Becoming impacient however, she got up and slowly walked over to the shelves and got a variety of antidotes. She smiled as Madame Pomfrey approached, "I did it, turned myself into a centaur," she said happily as her shaking hands began to mix potions.

"What kind of poison was this one," Pomfrey said shaking her head at the reckless girl and conjuring a mug of pumpkin juice. Pomfrey asked as she watched the girl as she weakly mixed the potions, "Hang in there Lavender darling you're almost done."

Lav smiled slightly at the encouragement and, once finished, sank to the bed and drank to concotion.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco crossed his arms over his chest, and paced across the room, looking at all the portraits, and below the portraits to the many many bottles lining the dressers that were also below the portraits. He frowned at all the different colors that adorned the bottles, and he wondered in the back of his mind about how many things could go wrong with someone. Be it breaks, fractures, magical maladies, bad falls, whatever... But there were so many other possibilities.

He turned around and wandered back to Lav who was drinking the potion she or Pomfrey had made. (as he had his back turned while it was being made) He stood near the bed, and looked around the room slowly, chewing on his lower lip. His bangs slid into his face and he brushed them away in an irritated manner. He didn't want to be here, so he really didn't know why he had taken her.

"How much longer will this be?" he asked, trying to keep the impatient tone out of his voice.

"I'm good now," Lav said shaking slightly at the after taste, she turned to Madame Pomfrey, "No hard exercise for fifteen minutes and make a pepper-up-potion before I go to be, right," she asked as she stood up. Lavender quickly took all the vials she used and cleaned them, she put them back the empty vial shelf.

Lavender hugged the matron and walked toward the door, "Thanks for all you're help Malfoy," she said playing up the distain and loathing her voice, she knew that Blaise and Cass were ok with being seen with Slytherins though she somehow thought that Draco wouldn't appreciate having to leave with a lion. Lav walked out of the hospital wing and leaned against the wall next to the door waiting for the boy to come out.
