Possibly going to see Santana the night before I come home from Houston, hopefully he's playing in the under 14s 5-a-side league sponsored by the Association of Amazing Hispanic Guitarist Legends.

But seriously though would be amazing to see the guy, one of the only guitarists who genuinely looks to be enjoying himself whilst in the middle of a clean edged salsa lick, rather than pulling stern facials reminicent of a man trying to force a hernia back in manually.

De Yalleo was one of the unsung tunes from the soundtrack to my youth for sure, uplifting and sexy - with the rather more corny duets in the collection forming inspiration for me learing guitar at the end of primary school days.

I'm just a'feared he might be performing too late for me to see... in which case I'll just buy a set of compensatory maraca's and cry the flight home... *shake*..... *shake*

I'm so gutted - the roof blew off the pavillion with the hurricane. Ahhh well I'll have to reschedule it to see him somewhere when I'm back, no worries about him getting old, he will never die due to his latin immortality.
