Yeah so Sin.
Is it not the very best place to start a night out? The drinks are so cheap they're pretty much free, the seats upstairs ein't that bad and the music can be chosen on request and is generally not god-awful stuff anyway, some may go so far as to say that it's sometimes enjoyable!

And going off into another venue as I apparently like to do, It's SO MUCH BETTER THAN RGU UNION (which is a good starting point from the cheap drinks point of view).

ive been to Sin a few times, it is pretty sound. Can get seriously crowded but as you said Trail, cheap drinks come at a price! hahahaha (get it?!?!)

amazing on student nights as its not too busy, but still busy enough.

Its gone downhill a bit in the last couple of months though. When it first opened it was alot better with a shit load of deals going on but now its changed a bit. Still uber cheap for vodka + mixer. Music is good enough, not too loud, no too quiet. There's a pole for some sexy steve lawnmower dances. Upstairs is tidy aswell. especially when they open the bar because fuck all people go upstairs for drinks, so its like insta service

downside is that its a bit out of the usual places where people go drinking. Nice for people who go to aberdeen uni as the bus stops right outside.

Plus its a lot more banging than the union down the road - I vividly remember (before the rest of the night started to fade to black) being the only one to tan the single tequila shot after having an entire squadron of vodka measures decend on the table as a birthday treat for Ness from the establishment itself.

They're also willing to make cocktails from the component parts so mai cheap subtitute margarita is only £2.60

I do like RGU union though for cheap drinks, quite a nice bar aswell.

The drinking is all fair and well but its later on when the itch appears for some kind of movement or vast treck that I feel its best to shift further upwards into the heart of town.

If I was to sit and get blootered with friends I'd usually do it somewhere more central, basking under the heatlamps of old school house were conversation = everything, even if you're slurring your words into oblivion. Plus who gives a shit about the cheapness of the drink's you skint students :P by x amount you're already too fucked to continue anyway - and the cheapness only adds to the nastiness.
