Qaayuk Qoroq (Ka-yook Ko-rok) A barren land, you see dust that stretches out for miles, blowing in storms that dare not come to the edges of the valley. Under one's paw, the tickle of small grass blades can be felt on pawpads. The dust of this Dirt Valley is deep enough to keep the grass hidden. Beyond the dusting of dirt, rarely revealed because of the snow found in this area, the dirt is left uncovered all year round. This is a cherished rarity. Qiku Tikibag (Kee-koo Tee-Kee-Bag) On the edge of the Qaayuk Qoroq, a sight of red hued trees in front of purple mountains is a sight known to take one's breath away. The magnificent tall trees rise high above the ground. Their trunks close together, gold and red mixed in an unknown blend, resonate a magnificent serenity, as it goes up huge shafts to meet the lush green of the foliage, needles of green, bright and prosperous.
