Transcendence 0.8a is now up on the official site
(download page) This new version concentrates on fixing bugs. In particular, it fixes some of the problems reported here such as Alt+Tab hanging the game. Also, it adds a few UI features such as highlighting the accelerator key in dock screens (so that it is easier to use the keyboard in the dock screens). For a complete list of changes, check out the Version History page. Now that 0.8a is done (and now that I am done with Anacreon 2.1), I plan on concentrating on version 0.9 of Transcendence. I am projecting several months of development and I plan on including several of the features that you all have suggested in this board. My main goal is to add many more encounters to the second half of the game (after St. Katharine's Star System) and to continue improving the first half of the game. Thanks for all your suggestions so far and keep them coming--although I cannot include every single one in the game, I am planning on including a good number of them. I hope you will all feel proud when you see those suggestions implemented. Thanks again! |
