Well, there's this forum game called Mafia. You may have already guessed that that is what this thread is about, a guess which I now affirm. Indeed, you may have already played/heard of it. If not, click here to read the rules for the game. If you are simply too lazy or in too much of a hurry to read through all that:
The above is quoted from mafiascum.net's Newbie Guide. That sums up the most basic version of the game. My question is: would anyone here like to play? It's simple enough once you get started, and quite fun. I'll be running a game if I can get at least 10 or more players (keep in mind, you have to be fairly active to play). It'll be themed Transcendence -- the Mafia will be Ares spies and the Town a Commonwealth station. I have a general outline of the game, which I'll write out in detail if I get enough interest. -------------------- |

Well, as you already know, I'm interested.

Do you have something specific in mind? Remember, this is going to be a rather small game, so we can't include a whole lot of complexity...

I'm game.
You know, this wasn't originally a forum game? I played it for the first time on a boy scout camping trip, sitting around a campfire. --------------------

Heh, yeah, when EFD first described it to me, I kept thinking 'I know I've heard of this before.' I finally figured out where, at summer camp. It was one of the games we considered playing. It got out-voted by Serial Killer, though.

Keep in mind, to play this at all, we'll need at least 10 people.
Players So Far (7) Sero Yugimotomanager the_holy_thom Boris the Cat =S= fossaman ThorWarriorX 3 more and we can play a reasonable game, though I'll happily accept as many players as we can get. -------------------- |

Sorry, I'm out for this game. I'm trying to pull myself away from this forum and to some other Transcendence forum. I'll probably be on the official.
I just end up posting on here if it seems decently relevant or slightly humorous. |

What's wrong with this one, again?

*bump* Should I drop this project, or can I get a few more people so we can play a decent game?

Id like to play, but traffic here appears to have been rather sparse recently. Keep at it for awhile, then wait until next version

Seven people -- that's enough for an average newbie game. If I can't find anyone else by April 1st, we're starting. If it sparks interest we'll play again.
